HELLO!!
I'm here today for the New Challenge over on the Calling All Sistahs Blog!!
EVERY Month on the 18th we'll be sharing a New Inspiration Challenge Photo!!
Lets take a look at the Project I've made for the NEW
Calling All Sistahs June Encouragement Challenge CAS14!!
Calling All Sistahs June Encouragement Challenge CAS14!!
I started by creating my background!! I LOVE that stencils can add interest, without distracting away from the Images!! I used a Stencil from MFT and some Wilted Violet Distress Ink!! Then I added some Chipped Sapphire and Black Soot Distress Inks!! For some Shimmer, I added some Opalescent watercolor splatter along with some Wilted Violet and Turquoise Watercolor that I added Opalescent Watercolor too!! Its HARD to see in the photos, but in real life its SO BEAUTIFUL!! I think the
Galaxy-ish background REALLY makes the Flowers POP!! They are front and center!!
For the Flowers I Stamped and Embossed the Images from the Pretty Posies and Peace & Comfort Stamp Sets!! I used WoW Glitter Embossing Powders!! Using different Colors for all of the different Images so they'd all have their own Color!! Then I used the coordinating Posies Fri-Dies and the Garden Fri Dies to cut them out!! I colored the Images with Copic Markers and added some Tonic Studios Morning Dew to the Centers for some dimension!! I used iCraft 3-D Foam Squares to adhere the Flowers and Leaves!! Stamped and Embossed the Sentiment from Peaceful Garden in White Embossing Powder!! To finish off my design, I added a few Studio Katia Iridescent Crystals!!

Hi! Very pretty interpretation of the sketch. I love the background and the flowers are colored perfectly. Love the use of tonic studio morning dew to add dimension. Thank you so much for joining us on Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge. xx Ankita
