Newton's Nook Designs July Release 3 Year Celebration ~ Paradise Palms!! =)

HELLO!!
Today's the THIRD Day of the Newton's Nook Designs July Release and also happens to be the 3rd Anniversary Celebration too!! YIPPEE!! It's going to be an AMAZING Celebration this Week!! FULL of AWESOME New Products and a FUN Blog Hop on Friday with LOTS of chances to WIN!! Who doesn't LOVE LOVE LOVE to WIN!!??  =) I KNOW I DO!! So let's take a look at the Set we are Showcasing today!! The New "Paradise Palms" Stamp Set!! Here's a Look at it in its FULL BEAUTY!! =)
SQUEAL!! See I told you!! Okay I have NEVER SEEN a Set like this and Sets like these are SO AMAZING and FUN to create with!! There are SO AMNY OPTIONS!! =) Plus just looking at a Serene Island/Tropical Scene just makes me HAPPY, no matter what type of day I'm having!!
For my Card today I was going for a Framed Photo Look of a Paradise/Tropical Scene and of course you KNOW me it HAD to be a Shaker Card!! LOL!! =) I started by Creating my Frame Base and I used an MFT Square Frame Die Set along with the MFT Stitched Square Dies so I could Create the Stitched Border onto my Frame!! =)
Then I Cut some Acetate using the same Stitched Square Die and Traced around the inside of my Frame so I knew where to create my Scene on the Inside of my Frame!! I Stamped and Embossed ALL of the Images from the NEW "Paradise Palms" Stamp Set using my Misti Tool and some Versa Fine Black Onyx Ink!! I Stamped everything a Couple Times just to make sure I had a DEEP Black Image!! Then I Covered EVERYTHING with some WoW Super Fine Detailed Clear Embossing Powder and Heat Set it!! SO FUN!! =) Then I took my Distress Inks and Inked up the Background!! For the Ocean/Water I wanted a Little Texture so I Tore some Masking Tape into strips with a WAVE Edge and used Faded Jeans and Chipped Sapphire Distress Inks to Create a Layered Ocean!! It does take some time, and you could just Mask Off the Horizon Line, but I think its WORTH the Look in the End!! Don't forget to Mask Off the Ocean Area so you DON'T Transfer any of that DARK Ink to your Sky!! Then I used Spun Sugar, Abandoned Coral and Dried Marigold Distress Inks to Blend and Create my Sunset!! I added some Water Droplets and some White, Black and Gold Distress Paint Splatters to Finish off my Paradise Scene!! I used some AWESOME Honey Bee Stamps Lakeside Droplets (in just the Blue Color) to look like Sea Glass and some Blue Iridescent Sequins in 5mm for my Shaker Elements Inside my Frame!! I Stamped and Embossed my Sentiment at the Bottom of the Card and just had to add a Little Palm Tree Image too to finish it ALL Off!! I hope you LOVE this New Set and that you FEEL INSPIRED to create your Own Paradise/Tropical Scene Shaker Card!!??  =)
