Hello!!
Welcome to the First Day of the Newton's Nook Designs May Release!! Today we are showcasing the New "Newton's Sick Day Stamp Set"!!
I wanted to use the Pretty Pink Posh Stitched Film Strip Die and stamp several Images and my sentiment!! So I die cut it from some Distress Water Color Paper and then die cut it from some Chalkboard Cardstock and layered four ontop of each other for a thicker Design!! I used my Distress Markers to Water Color the Images and added some Patterned Paper to a couple areas!! I LOVE the way it turned out!! I also used the Distress Markers to Water Color my Nurse Image and I'm not sure if you are like me!!?? I sometimes struggle with the Dark Grey Black Images when I'm using my Distress Markers for Water Color!! I have too HEAVY of a hand, but I think this Images turned out okay!!?? I was SO worried I had ruined it!! We have LONG commutes and I like to take my images with me in the Car while my husband is driving and I Color!! =) It makes the time go by FAST, and I'm not WASTING anytime!! =) I layered some other papers and a Stitched Heart Die Cut from Memory Box!! A few Pretty Pink Posh Crystal Clear Sequins and a Silver Mini Cloth's Pin finish off my Card Design!!
I also thought it would be AWESOME to use this set for a FUN Flower Stake/Pick!! I LOVE getting Flowers when your not felling well, or if your in the Hospital!! So how AWESOME would it be to get Flowers with a Personalized Flower Get Well Card!!?? I used a Paper Smooches Frame 3 Die and I Die Cut it so that it didn't cut the tops of the Frame all the way and it created a Card!! Then I Stamped and Embossed my Image and Colored it with Copic Markers!! I stamped another Image on the inside of the Card with the Sentiment and left space to leave a Special Message!! I used the New Paper Smooches Adornment Dies to attach the Framed Flower Card onto a Decorative Paper Straw and its ready to add to ANY Flower Arrangement!! =) Beings these are Straws they won't be affected by the Water in any Vase either so it just gives you another way to use your Craft Supplies!! YIPPEE!! =) Bonus in my book and I GUARENTEE EVERYONE who see this will be in AWE and SMILE!! =)
Would you like to win “Newton's Sick Day”!!??
