Hello!!
Welcome to the Second Day of the Newton's Nook Designs May Release!! I'm in LOVE with this Months Release and today we are show casing the New “Years of Cheers” Stamp Set!!
I'll admit, when I started creating with this SWEET Little Set I had SO MANY Ideas, so I went alittle CRAZY!! I have SEVERAL Projects for today and I LOVE them ALL!! SQUEAL!! =) I started with my Card!! I KNEW I wanted to use the Pretty Pink Posh Rounded Tag Die as my main Die Cut!! I Die Cut it from White Cardstock and then I Die Cut a Lil' Inker Designs Stitched Rounded Rectangle to fit inside of the Larger Tag!! I Stamped and Embossed the Images and then added the Black Twine!! Once done, I thought my Tag needed a Topper!!?? I had just gottenthe New Heidi Swapp Glitter Cardstock and thought it would be PERFECT for this card!! I first Die Cut the same Pretty Pink Posh Stitched Rounded Tag and then used the New Pretty Pink Posh Border Dies to add a Scalloped Edge!! I LOVE how it turned out!! I layered it ALL together and my card was done!!
While I was Die Cutting the Tag and Elements above, I Die Cut Several because then I have them on hand when I need them!! =) I also Die Cut Several Tag Toppers from different Glitter Papers too using different Border Dies!! I ended up using just the NEW Pretty Pink Posh Border Dies and when I cut the Pointed Label Border and Placed it over the Tag it looked like a Penguin!! =) SQUEAL!! Imagine my DELIGHT!!?? I was PRETTY Happy!! So I decided to make a New Years Gift, tat could be used for ANY Gift/Party!! I Stamped and Embossed the Happy 2016 and the To on my Tag and it was finished!! You could add a Face to these too using Wiggly Eyes and make them for any Gift!! =)
My Next Card I made as an Anniversary Card!! I wanted to use some Glitter Paper from My Mind's Eye and recreated the same Tag as the First Card!! I Stamped and Embossed my Sentiment and the Image then used my Copic Markers to Lightly Color in the Image!!
My Last Projects are Treat Bags!! SQUEAL!! I had Purchased the New Avery Elle Treat Topper Die and thought it would be FUN to create Several Treat Bags!! I ended up having to make this Treat Bag Larger with some Creative Die Cutting in order for the Champaigne Flute Image to Fit, but if you had to make SEVERAL of these and didn't want to mess with the Altered Die Cutting I also Created several wit just the Cheers and the Date!! =) You can use REALLY FUN Glittered or Metallic Embossing Powders and make these the STAR o any Party!! =) I used White Embossing Powder for the Chalkboard look and then I used some BEAUTIFUL WOW Glitter Embossing Powder!!
