Hello!!
Today we are previewing Christmas Lantern with The Craft's Meow for the October Release!!
I wanted to create a card on a Vintage Music Paper for my card base and I LOVE the way it turned out!! I decided to stamp directly onto the music sheet and then I colored the image in using my Faber- Castell Aquarelle Water Color Pencils!! I tried to make it look like real glass by outlining it with the silver and then making a shadow with the black!! I then colored all of the greenery using several of the greens and the red!! I did some shading and then took the Candy Cane Stickles to add some glitter to the berries!! I also used the gold to make the lantern light shimmer and a little yellow Stickles to make the fire shine!! I LOVE how real it looks!! I wanted the flower to be more dimensional and added a couple extra layers and a fun netting bow!! I stamped some holly in the top corners and colored them in the same way!! I embossed the sentiment with some Gold Embossing Powder and matted the card with some red card stock then added it to a kraft card base with some gesso masked dots using a Tim Holtz stencil!! I really LOVE the way it turned out!!
THANKS so much for stopping by today and don't forget to visit The Craft'sMeow Blog to leave a comment for your chance to win today's Stamp Set Christmas Lantern!!
