The Craft's meow
Hello!!
Hope your Saturday is off to a Great start??!!
Today you should be joining me for
The Craft's Meow Blog Hop
Anything Goes with a Technique!!
You should be coming from the
Amazing Blog of  Karen Baker!!
If not you should start the Hop over on The Craft's Meow Blog
so you don't miss out on any of the FUN!!
I thought it would be FUN to play around with the Chalkboard Technique!! This has been a HUGE Trend and after seeing LOTS of inspiration I wanted to create some Fall Themed Cards for our Blog Hop today!! My first card uses the Chalkboard Technique as a Background for my AWESOME Paper Pieced Scarecrow from the Happy Fall Stamp Set!! I used the Fancy Flourishes for a subtle chalkboard design on the background of the card base!! I added some leaves from the Happy Fall Stamp Set for a FUN embellishment on top of a May Arts Burlap Bow and then added a button to finish it all off!!  I LOVE the way it came together!!

For my second card I wanted to share a New Technique I am calling the
"Glittered Chalkboard Technique".
I thought it would be FUN to create a Glittered Chalkboard look so after LOTS of experimenting I came up with a Great New way to achieve a similar look to the Chalkboard Technique only using the New Distress Glitter for the off set image and I LOVE the results!! I have made a Short Technique Video to share how I did it!! I hope you enjoy it!! =)

Here are some pictures of my Finished Card!!

So I hope you ENJOYED the Video and if you decide to create a project using this technique I hope you'll leave me a comment with a link to your project, because I'd LOVE to come and check it out!!

THANKS SO MUCH for stopping by today and don't forget to Play Along with the Challenge You will have until 8 pm PST, on Sunday, September 15, 2013, to link up your new-created, anything goes projects, using at least one TCM stamp.  One randomly-drawn winner will receive a $15 gift certificate to the TCM Online Store.

  1. Your scarecrow is wonderful looking. Not going to scare any crows with it. Like the glittered leaf look.
