Hello!! I wanted to share the FUN Card I made for the IO Stamps Bloom Where You Are Planted Challenge!! =) I had gotten a NEW Love Birds Die and I wanted to use it for this challenge!! I LOVE the Tree Branch with all of the foliage and the Two Birds with the Hearts!! This image could be used for SO many things!! It could represent Love Birds-for Weddings, Anniversaries, or for any of the Special Holiday's you celebrate together. Thank You cards, Hello Cards, even for a New Baby Card and you could use the Hearts for a Speech Bubble to announce your News!! I just LOVE products like this that can be used for SO MUCH!!
I wanted to create a Card out of ALL Felt!! I have seen some Images on Pinterest (couldn't find the exact one) but they are wall hangings that are made from Felt!! Totally AWESOME with all of the neat details and I thought it would be FUN to create a card with this idea in mind!! I took various Felt colors and die cut the image several times to get each item the correct color!! I used a Brown Felt for my base because I thought it would add dimension/ a shadow as well as being the Tree Branch which is the main center image!! I used the Spellbinders Label Die to Emboss the image into the front of my card and then I made a mask and stamped using the Canvas Background Stamp from IO Stamps for the background of the Label!! I removed the mask and had a FUN frame to add my Felt Image too!! I thought the theme worked with this Challenge because no matter where you're Planted/Home is you can Thrive and be HAPPY!! This makes me see a HAPPY FAMILY celebrating the arrival of a New little Miracle!!
So I will be sending it to another friend who is expecting at the end of the weekend!!??
Here is my finished card!!
THANKS SO MUCH for stopping by and have a FABULOUS WEEK!! =)

That is just so creative and perfect for the challenge too. Beautiful!!! Thanks for explaining how you did it, Larissa. Thanks for playing and good luck in the drawing too!
ReplyDeleteGreat idea, I thought it was real canvas, that stamp always fools me! Love what you did embossing the die and then stamping in the mask. That die is so cute too! Thanks for sharing.

Oh wow! I love that canvas stamp, it looks so real on your project especially because you used felt too. Your card is super sweet !!
ReplyDeleteLarissa, this is not only gorgeous, but so creative as well! LOVE the way you used the felt on this and it so beautiful. LOVE IT!!!

It's adorable ! A great idea to use the felt and I love the canvas background too (one of my faves for texture).
ReplyDeleteHow awesome to use felt. I must give it a try. I bought this very same die. Glad you got your card done in time.
ReplyDeleteThat may seem odd, but in fact, it is a very
ReplyDeleteeffective mode for people with some degrees of visual impairment, since when you
focus on white letters, you are focussing on light
itself. The adobe reader is what you need to download e - Book in PDF format.
I didn't have much money to spend, and some friends had told me that you could get a free laptop by signing up with a new broadband provider, or new mobile phone provider.
