HELLO CRAFTY FRIENDS!!
I'm here with Day 1 of the
Today we're showcasing the NEW "Spring Roundabout" Stamp Set + Bunny Tails and Basketweave Stencils!! The "Spring Roundabout" Stamp Set also coordinates with the Banner Trio Die Set!!
Let's take a look at the AWESOME New Set!!
For my First Card I'm using the NEW Spring Roundabout Stamp Set along with the coordinating Circle Frames Die Set!! I Started by Stamping and Embossing with Versa Fine Black Onyx Ink and WoW Clear Gloss Embossing Powder!! Then I used Copic Markers to Color in the Image!!
Yellow: Y11, Y15 & YR23 Turquoise: BG10, BG45 & BG49 Pink: RV00, R81 & R85
Purple: V00, V15 & V06
White: C00, C1 & C3 Baskets: E31, E33 & E37
Cheeks: RV11
I added some Tonic Studios Aqua Shimmer Pen and Midas Touch Shimmer Pen to the images to add some SPARKLE!! Then I added both White and Black Gel Pen Details to finish off the Design!!
Then I Die Cut the Image out using s Stitched Circle and adhered it over the Doodlebug Purple Plaid Patterned Paper Scalloped Circle Frame Die Cut! SWOON!! I LOVE the contrast between the Plaid and the Image!! Just makes me HAPPY and SO READY for SPRING!! I Die Cut the Stitched Card Panel and then Inked the background with some Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink to help make the NEW Spring Roandabout Image POP off the Background!! I LOVE how it looks!!
Then I Stamped and Embossed the Sentiment using Versa Fine Black Onyx Ink and WoW Clear Gloss Embossing Powder!! I added some Black Soot Distress Paint Splatters and a few Lavender Jewels to finish off the Design!! For my Second Card I'm using the NEW Bunny Tails Stencil!! I personally LOVE PEEPS!! Not only do they bring back HAPPY Childhood Memories, but the way they SPARKLE and SHIMMER just makes GIDDY when I see them on the Shelves!! So I had to create a PEEPS Inspired Card using my FAVORITE Therm O Web and Rina K Designs Poppin' Pink Neon Glitz Glitter Gel!! SWOON!!
A combination too PERFECT not to use!! I Started by using some Purple Tape to mask off the Edges of the Stitched Rectangle Card Panel!! Then I Sprayed the back of the NEW Bunny Tails #1 Stencil with some Therm O Web Pixie Spray!! I applied it over the Card Panel and then applied a thin Layer of the Therm O Web & Rina K Designs Poppin' Pink Neon Glitz Glitter Gel using the Stencil Pal!! I removed the Stencil and set the Card Panel aside to dry completely!!
Once the Glitz Glitter Gel was Dry, I Sprayed the back of the #2 Bunny Tails Stencil with Therm O Web Pixie Spray and then placed it over the Dry Glitz Glitter Bunnies!! Lining up the etched design on the Stencil!! Making sure to press firmly to make sure its adhered well!! Then I applied a thin Layer of the Therm O Web Deco Foil Transfer Duo Gel over the Stencil using the Stencil Pal!! SQUEAL!!
How CUTE are those lil' Bunny Tails!!??
I adhered the Panel to a Black A2 Cardbase and paired it with a coordinating A2 Envelope!! I hope this design makes you as GIDDY as I am for ALL things PEEPS!!??
I set the Panel aside to Dry Completely!! The Bunny Tails will be completely Clear once Dry!! I took this Picture when it was wet so you'd be able to see the Stenciled Tails!! Then once completely Dry, I cut a piece of the Deco Foil Flock Sheets in White Latte large enough to cover the Card Panel and ran it through my Die Cutting Machine in order the Burnish the Deco Foil Flock into the dried Adhesive!! EEKKK!!
This process NEVER gets Old!! I removed the Flock Sheet to reveal the CUTE FUZZY Bunny Tails!! Just makes me GIGGLE in delight with how CUTE this turned out!!
I Die Cut a Black & White Gingham Patterned Paper Scalloped Frame using the NND Frames & Flags Die Set and then adhered the Stenciled Card Panel to the center of the Frame!! For the Sentiment (SNEAK PEEK from the "Hoppy Greeting" Stamp Set being showcased tomorrow) I Stamped and Embossed it onto a Banner Trio Die Cut using Versa Fine Black Onyx Ink and WoW Clear Gloss Embossing Powder!! Then adhered it to the Card Panel using some Gina K Designs Foam Tape!! I adhered the Panel to a Black A2 Cardbase and paired it with a coordinating A2 Envelope!! I hope this design makes you as GIDDY as I am for ALL things PEEPS!!??
I mean this would make the PERFECT Card to give to someone Special accompanying a Box of YUMMY Pink Bunny Peeps this Easter/Spring!! EVERYONE could use a TREAT this SWEET, especially during these unprecedented times!! My Last Card today I'm using the NEW Basketweave Stencil along with the SWEET Image from the "Newton's Peeps" Stamp Set!! SWOON!! This SWEET Image was MADE to be used with this NEW Basketweave Stencil!!
I Started by Stamping and Embossing the "Newton's Peeps" Image using Versa Fine Black Onyx Ink and WoW Clear Gloss Embossing Powder!!
Then I colored it in using Copic Markers!!
Newton: E40, E43, E99 & W3 Cheeks: R11 Chicks: Y11, Y15 & YR23 Collar: BG10, BG45 Beaks: YR18 Basket: E31, E33, E35 & E37 Bow: R00, R11 & R32
White: C00, C1 & C3
Then I Die Cut the Image out using the coordinating "Newton's Peeps" Die Set!! I added some Midas Touch Shimmer Pen to the Peens for some Sparkle and applied some Tonic Studios Morning Dew Nuvo Drops to the Collar Tag, Bow and the Chick Beaks!! I finished off the design by adding some White and Black Gel Pen Details!!
Next I Die Cut a Kraft Stitched Rectangle and Inked the NEW Basketweave Stencil with some TE Sugar Cube Ink!! Then I masked off the Ground with some Purple Tape and Inked with Vintage Photo Distress Oxide Ink to create the Ground!! I Stamped and Embossed the Sentiment from the NEW Spring Roundabout Stamp Set using WoW Embossing Ink and WoW Bright White Embossing Powder!! I adhered the Image to Card Panel using Gina K Designs Foam Tape and added a few Iridescent Jewels for some added Sparkle!! A Die Cut Scalloped Frame using the NND Frames & Flags Die Set and then adhered the Card Panel to the center of the Frame!!
