Hello!!
SQUEAL!!
I'm here with Day 4 of the Newton's Nook Designs November Release!!
Today we're showcasing the NEW
“Frosty Folks” Stamp Set + coordinating "Frosty Folks" Dies!!
Let's take a look at the AWESOME New Set!!
SWOON!! This Stamp Set has my HEART!! I LOVE Snowmen and this Image couldn't be any more PERFECT!! I definitely wanted the Image to be the Focal so I Started by Stamping and Embossing the Image!! I used Copic Markers to Color in the Image!!
I used (Snowmen & White on Hats: No, N2 & 0 Cheeks: R00 Carrot Noses: YR00 & YR68 Top Hat: N2, N4 & N8 R43, R46 & R89 Red: R43, R46 & R89 Green: G00, G05 & G09 Turquoise: BG10, BG45 & BG49 Pink: RV00, RV11 & RV34)
I used the NEW coordinating "Frosty Folks" Die to Die Cut the Image out and then I added some finishing details!! White Gel Pen for Highlights, Black Glaze Pen to the Buttons and Eyes, Nuvo Drops in Morning Dew to the Carrot Noses and Red Brim on the Top Hat and Nuvo Glitter Drops in Blizzard to the Stocking Hat Brims and Pom-Poms!! I used a Nuvo Shimmer Pen to add Glitter to the Scarves and Hats and I just LOVE all of the touches of Sparkle and Shine!! I think it just really finishes off that WINTER Feeling!!
I Die Cut the Rectangle Panel from the NND Frames and Flags Die Set and knew I wanted to add some Snowflakes!! I sprayed the back of my NND Snowfall Stencil with some Therm O Web Pixie Spray and then adhered it onto my Panel!! I taped off the edges of the panel in order to keep them white with Purple Tape and then I used Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink along with some Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide Ink to get a Light Turquoise Color to match my Images!! I LOVE the way the Distress Oxide Inks Blend!! I then removed the Stencil and blended over the Snowflakes to help blend them into the background alitte!! I think the Soft Design really shines behind the Image!! I Stamped and Embossed the Sentiment using both WoW Clear Gloss Embossing Powder and some WoW Rockin' Red Glitter Embossing Powder!! The Iridescent Glitter in the Embossing Powder goes really well with the Iridescent Glitter in the Blizzard Nuvo Drops!! Then I added a Few of the Snowflake Images from the Set and Embossed them with some WoW White Embossing Powder!! Iridescent Pretty Pink Posh Jewels were added to finish off the center of the Snowflakes!! Then I added it to a Patterned Paper Scalloped Frame that I die Cut also from the NND Frames and Flags Die Set!! I LOVE this and I'll be making SEVERAL more as this Image and the Sentiments is one of my NEW FAVORITES!!
