Hello!!
SQUEAL!!
I'm here with Day 1 of the
Today we're showcasing the NEW
"Wedding Frills" Stamp Set + coordinating "Wedding Frills" Die Set and the "Floral Lace" Stencil!!
Let's take a look at the AWESOME New Products!!
I started by Inking my Card base with a light coat of Tumbled Glass Distress Ink. Then I placed the Bubbly Stencil over the Card base securing with some Therm O Web Purple Tape and Inking with Tumbled Glass Distress Ink. Remove the Stencil and you've got a lightly stenciled Card base!! Then I Stamped and Embossed the Images onto some Distress Watercolor Paper and Die Cut them out using the Coordinating Dies!! I Colored them using Copic Markers and added some Tonic Studios Aqua Shimmer Pen and some Morning Dew Nuvo Drops for the Centers of the Flowers!! I Fussy Cut the Centers of the Larger Flowers and the Smaller Flowers to make the Design 3-D!! In real life its just BEAUTIFUL and adds the PERFECT Finishing touch to this simple Card Design!! I Stamped and Embossed the Sentiment and added a few Pretty Pink Posh Sparkling Clear Sequins and added some Morning Dew NuvoDrops to the center of each of the sequins to compliment the Nuvo Drops in the center of each of the Flowers!!
This next Card was a Labor of LOVE!! ;)
Ever have an idea and you can't let it rest until you figure out how to create it!! Well, this was that card for me!! I wanted to have the Negative part of the Stencil be in Foil!! Yep, you heard me Black Foil!! So after MANY attempts to get the desired look, I finally NAILED it!! What do you think!!??
I started by adhering the Stencil over a piece of Cardstock with some Therm O Web Purple Tape, then I added Deco Foil Transfer Gel over the top of the Stencil using my Tonic Studios Spatula!! I sat it aside to dry and then cut some Black Deco Foil to fit my Cardbase and Foiled the Dry Gel Stenciled Cardbase in my Laminating Machine!! I removed the Foil Film and WALLAH!! I had my Black Foil Negative!! Now to adhere it to my Project!! I picked a Neutral Designed Patterned Paper and used the Stencil to adhere over the Patterned Paper with some Therm O Web Purple Tape!! Then I chose several colors of Distress Oxide Inks and used Ink Daubbers to Color in the Stenciled Design!! After I was done inking up the Design, I added some Water Splatters to create some Oxidization and then I dried it with my Heat Tool!! I then Inked over the Design with my Versa Mark Ink Pad and coated the Design with Clear Embossing Powder!! I repeated this step 2 more times!! Once it was Dry I placed the Negative Foil Piece over the Cardbase making sure to line up the design as best as I could and adhered it using some Purple Tape!! I covered it with some Deco Foil Parchment Paper and ran it through my Laminating Machine!! Once it cools a bit I ran it through again and then it was time to remove the Film to see what I had!! SQUEAL!! I was SO HAPPY!! In real life this Card is AWESOME looking!! I then added a few Pretty Pink Posh Jewels and the NEW Essential Alphabet Die Cut letters that I created using the same Patterned Paper as the background and some Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide Ink!! I Die Cut 4 layers of Black Cardstock to make the letters more dimensional!! Then I created a Sentiment Banner using the Frames and Flags Die Set and White Heat Embossing the Sentiment from the Simply Relative Stamp Set!! I adhered it with some Foam tape and my Card was done!!
(Side Note ~ I will have step out photos of how I created this Card once I get my New Computer and re-edit the Photos!!
