Newton's Nook Designs August Release ~ "Tranquil Tides" & "Newton's Antics" Perr-Fect Dies Sets!! =)

Hello!!

I'm back with the Newton's Nook Designs August Release!! Today we are showcasing the New "Tranquil Tides" & "Newton's Antics" Perr-Fect Dies Sets!! SQUEAL!! I'm SO IN LOVE with theses Coordinating Dies!! Here's a Look at them n` ALL of their AWESOMENESS!!

 

There are SO Many Techniques that you can do when you have the Coordinating Dies to go along with a Stamp Set!! =) So Today I wanted create a FUN Card using the Die Cut Images along with some Stamping onto the Card Base to Create a Scene!! I also used the Sign Image that I LOVE to Pieces from the Newton's Nook Designs Winter Tails Stamp Set!! I wanted it to look like a Sign made from some Shipwrecked Boards!!??  =) I used my Distress Inks to Ink up my Images and then I huffed onto them to moisten the Ink and Stamped and Embossed them onto some Distress Water Color Paper!! After they were cool I added some Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Marker and I just LOVE the Shimmer in Real Life!! =) I've used Black Soot and Salty Ocean for the Angle Fish Images, Salty Ocean and Chipped Sapphire for the Little Fish Images, Mustard Seed and Fossilized Amber for the Star Fish Images and Abandoned Coral and Orange Marmalade for the Coral Images!! I really LOVE how the Distress Colors Blend and ALL Work Together!! I Stamped the Water Bubbles using Tumbled Glass Distress Ink and my Card was done!!

Hello and Happy Friday!!
I'm sharing over on the Newton's Nook Blog today and I just LOVE the card that I have made to share with you!! I FELL in LOVE as soon as I saw the New NND Farm Yard Friends Stamp Set!!

I can't STOP using it and I know it's going to be ONE of my FAVORITES for a LONG TIME!! I thought it would be FUN to create a THANKS Card using the Sentiment From The Whole Herd and then using ALL of the Animals from the Set too!! I Stamped and Embossed all of the Animal Images with Ranger Ultra Fine Clear Embossing Powder and then used my Copic Markers to Color them in!! Then I Fussy Cut them ALL out and used a Black Soot Distress Marker to color the edges for a seamless finish!! I wanted the Animals to have a 3-D look too beings I was adding them into a 3-D Box so I Stamped and Colored extra Noses, Mouths and the Head of the Sheep an then used Foam Tape to Pop them Up for a FUN 3-D Design!! I took the New Box Die from Neat & Tangled (one of my FAVORITE New Dies) and created the 3-D Box to put all of the Animals in!! I used some Wood Grain Paper and then Inked the edges to finish them off and I LOVE the way it turned out!! I wanted to create a Sign and use some of the Ears of Corn from the Set so I stamped the Sign from the NND Winter Tails Stamp Set from the same Wood Grain Paper and then added some White Acrylic Paint to the Center of it and let it dry!! I then Stamped my Sentiment and the Embossed it so it didn't Smudge using some Ranger Ultra Fine Embossing Powder!! I added three of the Ears of Corn to the Base of the Sign and then I used some Distress Ink in Tumbled Glass and Brushed Corduroy to create a Background for my Scene!! I wanted to add another Layer for some extra Interest so I stamped the Chicken Wire Image from the NND Chicken Scratches Stamp Set!!  I did a Second Generation Stamping so that it wasn't too harsh of an Image and I really like the bit of Interest that it adds to the Card!! I used some TINY 3mm Wiggly Eyes and some Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Marker to make the Animals come to Life!!
   
I also Stamped the Large THANKS from the NND Simply Sentimental Stamp Set and Embossed it with the same Ranger Ultra Fine Clear Embossing Powder!! I added a Tiny Little Heart Die Cut from Paper Smooches that I colored using the same Pinkish Color Copic Marker I used for the Animals and then added some Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Marker on top!! I LOVE the way it turned out!! =)
