We will be BUSY at our County Fair but I wouldn't MIND spending the Weekend at the BEACH!!
How about you!!??
This Months Inky Paws Challenge #23 ~ Summer Lovin' is SO FUN!! How can you NOT be INSPIRED by this Challenge Photo!!??
I decided to use the New Message In a Bottle Stamp Set and the coordinating Message In a Bottle Die Set and then I paired it with the Years of Cheers Stamp Set to created a FUN Shaker Card!! I was ISNPIRED by the Sand and the Idea of Sea Glass!! So I've used more of a Beachy Color Scheme, but its still in a Rainbow of Hues and I LOVE that this Design could be USED for SO MANY Occasions!! Weddings, Anniversaries, Birthdays and even Congrats!! I Started by Die Cutting the Bottle and I wanted it to be a Wine Bottle so I Stamped it and then Masked it to create a FUN Wine Label using the Swirl Image  from the Years of Cheers Stamp Set!! I then Stamped the Sentiment from the In Slow Motion Stamp Set!! I thought it made the PERFECT Name for a Bottle of Wine, and also worked GREAT for an any Occasion Sentiment!! Then I used my Distress Markers to Water Color the Bottle and the Wine Glasses!! I Stamped the Cheers and added the Wine Glasses and created the Shaker and my Card was done!! The Sequin Mix is from Simon Says Stamp and I just LOVE this Color Combo!!

Newton's Nook Designs June Release ~ In Slow Motion!! =)

Welcome to the First Day of the Newton's Nook Designs June Release!! Today we are showcasing the Sweet New "In Slow Motion" Stamp Set!! SQUEAL!! Isn't this just the CUTEST!!?? I have FALLEN in LOVE with all of the Sweet Images and I can't WAIT to share the Cards that I have created with it!!

My first Card uses the Cute Worm Image!! I wanted to make it look like a Party of Worms was Headed to Wish the Recipient a HAPPY Birthday!! Have you ever noticed that when it rains especially if its been DRY that ALL of the Worms in your Yard/Garden come to the surface and flock together!!?? That's why I created them ALL going in the same Direction!! =) (FYI ~ You could actually make the Worm face the other Direction just by wiping off the Eye Dot before Stamping and then draw a New Dot in for the Eye) I Stamped and Embossed my Images onto some Distress Water Color Paper and then I used my Distress Markers to Water Color the Images!! I just LOVE the way they turned out!!! 
I used a New Avery Elle Stitched Heart Inside/Outside Die and then I added some Crystal Clear Sequins from Pretty Pink Posh and my Card was Done!!

 I've used the same Heart Die as a Window for my Second Card!! I Die Cut some other Little Mini Die Shapes for Confetti and then added Distress Marker Water Color Behind and then used my Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Marker on top of that for some Sparkle!! I Water Colored the Sloth using my Distress Markers too!! Added one of the CUTE Hats and a Sentiment also from this Set and a few Crystal Clear Sequins from Pretty Pink Posh and my Card was done!!
