Bee Happy Embossed Gift Bag w/ Newton's Nook Designs!!

Hello Crafty Friends!! 

I'm up on the Newton's Nook Blog today sharing a FUN Summer Themed Gift Bag using some of the NEW Products!! I LOVE how this turned out and the fact that its so easy you could create multiples in no time for a Special Occasion like a Birthday or Shower to give as Party Favors!! So I hope these INSPIRE you to get Crafty!! 

I LOVE that you could personalize this in different ways like the Color of Embossing Powder you use, the Colors you use for the Scrap Ribbon Bow and Gift Tag and the Sentiment you choose to use for the Gift Tag!! So MANY possibilities here!! 

I Started with a Linen Gift Bag that I picked up from Hobby Lobby, but these can be found on Amazon and other Craft Stores too!! Then I took my Static Powder Tool and rubbed over the front of the Linen Bag!! Then I placed a Piece of Thick Cardstock on the inside of the Bag and placed it n my Misit Stamping Tool!! Then I Stamped the Heart Honeycomb Image from the NEW Heartfelt Honeycomb Stamp Set using Versa Fine Black Onyx Ink and then I embossed with some WoW Pearl Gold Sparkle Embossing Powder and heat Set it using my Embossing Tool!! SWOON!! The finished results are AMAZNG!! The Linen Embosses so well and I LOVE the added Sparkle too!! 

Next I Stamped and Embossed the Bee Image and Colored it with Copic Markers!! 
Yellow: Y00, Y13 & YR23     Blue: BG000 & BG13
Then I used the coordinating NEW Heartfelt Honeycomb Die Set to Die Cut the Image out!! I used a couple Zots Bling Adhesive Dots to adhere the Bee Image to the Gift Bag!! 

Then I finished off the Gift Bag with a Stamped and Embossed Gift Tag that I made using the Banner Trio Die Set and a Sentiment from the same NEW Heartfelt Honeycomb Stamp Set!! I Die Cut another Tag from the NEW Farm Yard Paper Pad and Layered them together using the Tag Topper from the Fancy Edges Tag Die Set!! Then I finished off the Design with a Scrap Ribbon Bow and I LOVE how this turned out!! Like I mentioned earlier this could be used for SO MNAY Occasions and is SURE to be a FAVORITE!! I hope it INSPIRES you!!

Welcome to Release Week for the Newton's Nook Designs June Release 2024!! Today I'm sharing a Project that I've made using the NEW Hexagon Frames Die Set, NEW Honeycomb Hot Foil Plate and Dies and NEW Heartfelt Honeycomb Stamp Set + coordinating NEW Heartfelt Honeycomb Die Set!!

NEW Honeycomb Hot Foil Plate & Dies

For my first Card I’m using the NEW Heartfelt Honeycomb Stamp Set and coordinating NEW Heartfelt Honeycomb Die Set, along with the NEW Hexagon Frames Die Set and a SNEAK PEEK of the NEW Pattern Paper Pad that we’ll be showcasing on Wednesday!!

 SWOON!! I LOVE how the Embossed Honeycomb looks with the WoW Embossing Pearl Gold Sparkle Embossing Glitter Powder!!
I then Inked the Hexagon using some Mustard Seed!!

Here's a Close Up Image of that WoW Embossed Honeycomb!! It's just AMAZING in Real Life!! Then I Die Cut the image with the Hexagon Frames Die Set and then

I adhered it to a Scalloped Hexagon Frame Die Cut from some Kraft Cardstock that I inked with Gathered Twigs Distress Oxide Ink and then used Foam Tape to adhere it to the Card Panel that I Cut from some of the NEW Pattern Paper Pad!!

I added some Black Soot Distress Paint Splatters for some texture!! Then I Stamped and Embossed the Bee Image along with the Sentiment!! I used the Banner Trio Dies for the Sentiment and adhered then both to the Hexagon Focal Image!! I LOVE how it turned out!! 

For my Second Card today I’m using the NEW Honeycomb Hot Foil Plate and Dies along with the NEW Hexagon Frames Die Set!! I LOVE to Hot Foil, but I’ve also realized how much FUN it is to use these Dies for Embossing onto my Cards for both Texture and Design and I REALLY LOVE all of the diff ways they can be used to create some AMAZING Backgrounds and Focal Images!! 

I Started by Die Cutting my Card Panel using the Basic Frames Die Set from some White Cardstock!! Then I Embossed the Honeycomb Design onto my Card Panel using the NEW Honeycomb Hot Foil Plate!! Then I inked over the Design using some Gathered Twigs Distress Oxide Ink I LOVE how it POPS!! I added some Black Soot Distress Paint Splatters for some Texture!! 

Next I Hot Foiled the NEW Honeycomb Hot Foil Plate onto some Hammermill White Cardstock using some Therm O Web Deco Foil Hot Foil in Unicorn Gold!! SWOON!! In person the Shimmer of this Hot Foil is AMAZING!! I then Die Cut the Hot Foiled Cardstock using the NEW Hexagon Frames Die Set!! Then I Inked them using some Mustard Seed and Gathered Twigs Distress Oxide Ink!! I then took a Paper Towel and rubbed over the Hot Foiled Design to remove any excess Ink!! I adhered them onto the Embossed background Card Panel

I adhered the Bees and the Stamped and Embossed Sentiment from the NEW Heartfelt Honeycomb Stamp Set and then added a few Trinity Stamped Fairy Rocks Rhinestones for some additional Iridescent Sparkle and I LOVE how it turned out!! I hope you feel INSPIRED!!?? I’m in LOVE with these NEW Products and CAN’T WAIT to share the rest of the Release and my Creations with you this week!!
