Peace, Love & Joy Spinner Card w/ Newton's Nook Designs!!

HELLO CRAFTY FRIENDS!! 

I'm up on the NND Blog today sharing an ADORABLE Spinner Card using some of the NEW Products from Newton's Nook Designs Holiday Release!! 

I Started by Creating my Card Panel!! Die Cutting a SSS Double Stitched Circle in the Front of the Panel and Inking with Salvaged Patina Distress Oxide Ink!! Then I Stamped and Embossed the "Peace, Love & Joy" Sentiment from the NEW Heartfelt Holidays Stamp Set!! Then I Die Cut a Candy Cane Patterned Paper from the Meowy Christmas 6x6 Paper Pad using the Frames & Flags Die Set and Die Cut the same Stitched Circle in the Front of the Panel, lining it up with the Inked Panel so the Circles would match as the card opened to the Inside of the Card!!

Then I Stamped and Embossed the SWEET Snowman Couple from the NEW Snow Much Cheer Stamp Set!! I colored the Image in using Copic Markers!! 
Black: N5, N3 & N0    Red: R14, R37 & R39    Pink: RV11     White: N0 & N2     Green: YG61, YG63 & YG67     
Snowman Couple: BG000, BG11    

Orange: YR00, YR18 & YR68 
I Die Cut the Snowman Couple out using the coordinating Snow Much Cheer Die Set and then 
I added some Glossy Accents to the Carrot Noses, the Holly Berries, the Buttons and the Red Bow!! Once the Glossy Accents was Dried completely, then I added some Adhesive and some Iridescent Glitter to add some Sparkle and Shine!! 

Then I decorated the Inside of the Card using the Stitched Circle Die Cut from the front Card Panel and Stamped and Embossed the Sentiment from the NEW Snow Much Cheer Stamp Set!! To finish the Card off I adhered several different sized Snowflake Sequins!! I adhered some Trinity Stamps Fair Rocks Rhinestones to the center of the Snowflakes for some extra Sparkle!! 

In order to create the Spinning Element I Sandwiched my Colored Snowman Image with a Plain White Snowman Die Cut around a Clear Jewelry Thread!! Placing the thread in the Center of the 2 Die Cuts and leaving extra Thread coming out of both the Top and the Bottom of the Sandwiched Die Cuts!! Then I adhered the Sandwiched Images to the Cardbase using some Double Sided Adhesive Tape!! Placing the Clear Jewelry Thread to both the Top and the Bottom of the Cardbase!! Making sure the Thread didn't show behind the Card Front Panel, that I adhered to the Cardbase centering it over the Die Cut Window!!  

I just LOVE the way this Card turned out!! Spinner Cards are my NEW Favorite Interactive Cards to make!! I hope you'll give them a try if you've never made one before!! They are SO FUN to make and my Boys have been Playing with this Card seeing who can make it spin the MOST!! So I already KNOW this is going to make the Recipient VERY HAPPY!!

Newton's Nook Designs Holiday Release 2021 ~ Prehistoric Christmas, Christmas Pheasant & Heartfelt Holidays!!

I'm here with Day 4 of the 

Newton's Nook Designs Holiday Release 2021!! 

Today we're showcasing the NEW "Prehistoric Christmas" Stamp Set + coordinating Prehistoric Christmas Die Set and the 

"Christmas Pheasant" Stamp Set + coordinating Christmas Pheasant Die Set and the "Heartfelt Holidays" Stamp Set and coordinating Heart Frames Die Set and Banner Trio Die Set!! 

Let's take a look at the AWESOME New Sets!!

These sets are AMAZING Right!!?? 

I can't wait to share what I've created for today!! 

I LOVE to create Treat Bags with Gift Tags for the Holidays to give Little Gifts!! The NEW Prehistoric Set is PERFECT for this!! I thought it'd be FUN to keep the Image uncolored and include Crayons in the Bag for the recipient to be able to Color their own Tag!! Just by changing out the Patterned Paper that you use, you can create these for both Boys and Girls!! I LOVE the Masculine Idea though as Masculine Treat Bags/Tags are ALWAYS a struggle especially during the Holidays!! This same Idea would work for Birthday's, or Just Because Treats too!! 
I used the Mama Elephant Treat Bag Die and Die Cut the NEW Meowy Christmas Patterned Paper to create the Bag!! Then I Die Cut the Fancy Edges Tag Die and Inked the Background with Distress Oxide Inks in Tumbled Glass and Hickory Smoke!! I even added a Mini White Pom-Pom for some Texture!! Then adhered it to the Treat Bag with a Red Tassel, Large Jingle Bell and Mini Clip!! 

I Created another Masculine Treat Bag and Gift Tag using the NEW Christmas Pheasant Set!! I Colored the Image with Copic Markers!! 
Pheasant: E40, E24, E99, R37, R39, BG13, B34      

Hat & Present: R00, R14 & R37   N0 & N3
Then I used the coordinating Dies to Die Cut them out!! 

I used the NEW Meowy Christmas Patterned Paper to create the Top of the Tag!! Then I Die Cut the Fancy Edges Tag Die and Inked the Background with Distress Oxide Inks in Tumbled Glass and Hickory Smoke!! Then adhered it to the Treat Bag with a Rainbow Tassel, Small Jingle Bell and Mini Clip!!

My Next Card using the NEW Heartfelt Holidays Set is a FUN Interactive Card!! I Partially Die Cut the Image to create a Flip Fold Out Design!! I LOVE the idea of this and think these would be PERFECT for those SPECIAL Holiday Cards you want to give this Holiday Season!! Just by changing the Sentiment, you can use this same design for ANY Occasion!! 

I Stamped and Embossed the Image and then Colored with Copic Markers!! Then I added some Glossy Accents to all of the Berries for some Texture and Dimension!! I Die Cut the Scalloped Heart Frame from some Therm O Web Deco Foil Flock in Emerald Green!! It really makes the Image POP!! 

You can see by the this Photo that the Card is Open and can hopefully see the FUN Partially Die Cut Design using the Scalloped Heart Frame Die and the NEW Meowy Christmas Patterned Paper!! There's plenty of room to add your message inside too!! SWOON!! I'm in LOVE with this Card!! 

I added some Trinity Stamps Fairy Rocks Rhinestones to finish off the Design and to add a touch of SPARKLE!! I hope I've INSPIRED you on a NEW way to use the NEW Heartfelt Holiday Set!! 
BONUS: You can use this same Design with the ANY of the Heartfelt Sets you may have on hand!! Also, this same design would work well with both the Roundabout Sets and the Fringe Sets!!
