Here's the Card I've made for today!!
I've used the BRAND NEW Newton's Nook Designs Cuppa Cactus Stamp Set!! This set was part of our recent June Release and I've been having so much fun playing with it!! It has two cute little Cactus Images in Mugs and some really great Puns for Coffee Lovers!! To make the card I started by Stamping and Embossing the Cacti in Mugs Images onto Reverse Confetti Midnight Cardstock and then I Colored them in using the Crafter's Companion Spectrum Noir Metallic Colored Pencils!! I added some Shading with the Crafter's Companion ColorBlend Colored Pencils_Essentials Set!! I then Coated the Images with some Spectrum Noir Glitter Pen and I Die Cut them out with the coordinating Cuppa Cactus Die Set!! I wanted a Glossy Finish to the Flowers and the Coffee Mugs so I added some Tonic Studios Morning Dew Nuvo Drops over the Top and let it dry!! SQUEAL!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE the way it looks!! I took a piece of Watercolor Paper and added some Distress Ink in Tumbled Glass to my Craft Mat and Squished it onto the Distress Watercolor Paper and then added some Black Soot Distress Paint Splatters to make the Background!! I added some of the Honey Bee Stamps Sticky Back Crystal AB Rhinestones, because I thought they brought out the colors of the Cacti in Mugs Images!! Then I added the Sentiment "Caution: I'm a little prickly before my coffee" using the Sentiments from the Cuppa Cactus Stamp Set!!
