A Hug in a Mug Card w/ Newton's Nook Designs!!

HELLO CRAFTY FRIENDS!! 

I'm up on the Newton's Nook Designs Blog today to share a SWEET A Hug in a Mug Card using a combination of New and Older Products to INSPIRE you on ways to combine them for your Winter Card giving needs!! 

I Started by Stamping and Embossing the Images from the Cup of Cocoa Stamp Set!! SWOON!! These images are some of my FAVORITES to use this time of Year as we LOVE a YUMMY Cup of Cocoa on a Cold Day!! I Stamped in Versa Fine Black Onyx Ink and Embossed with WoW Clear Gloss Embossing Powder!! Then I added some Black Soot Distress Paint Splatters!!  

Next I Die Cut the Large Scalloped Circle using the Circle Frames Die Set from a piece of Pattern Paper from the Christmas Basics Pattern Paper Pad!! Then I added a Circle Die Cut from some Green Cardstock and a Stitched Circle from some White Cardstock!! I Inked the White Cardstock Circle with some Salvaged Patina Distress Oxide Ink and then I Die Cut the NEW A Hug in a Mug Die from some Black Cardstock 4 times and adhered them altogether for a Dimensional Sentiment Die Cut!! I adhered the sentiment in the center of the Inked Circle!! 

I finished off the Designs by adding some Nuvo Drops and some Trinity Stamps Vanilla Sugar Snowflake Sprinkle Embellishments and some Sea Glass Semi-Opaque Rhinestones!! SWOON!! These little Details add so much to the Design!! 

I added another Grouping to the Top Right Hand Side of the Card for a grouping of 3 and I LOVE how this Card turned out!! I hope this Card INSPIRES you to create some Cards combining your NEW and OLD Products for a FUN Design!!

Newton's Nook Designs Holiday Release 2024 ~ Christmas Coffee!!

Welcome to Release Week for the Newton's Nook Designs Holiday Release 2024!! Today I'm sharing a Project that I've made using the NEW Christmas Coffee Stamp Set and coordinating NEW Christmas Coffee Die Set!! 

Here's a Close up look at ALL of the NEW Products being showcased Today!!

SQUEAL!! How AMAZING is this NEW Set!! I'm SMITTEN!! I have so many Friends and Family members who ENJOY Coffee Treats!! So this Set is going to get a LOT of LOVE from me this Holiday Season!! Here's what I've created for today!! 

I Started by Stamping and Embossing the Image from the NEW Christmas Coffee Stamp Set onto White Cardstock using Versa Fine Black Onyx Ink and WoW Clear Gloss Embossing Powder!!
Then I Colored the Image with Copic Markers!! 
Red: R00, R14 & R39    Skin: E00, E11 & E13    Cheeks: R83
White: N0 & N3     Brown: E40, E43 & E47
Then I used the coordinating NEW Christmas Coffee Die Set to Die Cut the Image out!! I added some White and Black Gel Pen Details and I LOVE how they make the Image come to Life!! 

Next I Die Cut the Tag using the Fancy Edges Tag Die Set from some of the NEW Christmas Basics Pattern Paper!! Then I Die Cut the NEW Postage Stamp Layout Die from some White Cardstock and then I Cut it into individual Stamps using my Paper Trimmer!! Then I Inked the Stamp Frame with some Hickory Smoke Distress Oxide Ink and the Background of the Stamp with some Salvaged Patina Distress Oxide Ink!! Next I Stamped and Embossed the Sentiment onto the Tag using Versa Fine Black Onyx Ink and WoW Clear Gloss Embossing Powder!! I adhered the Stamp to the center of the Tag and added another White Cardstock Tag that I'll be attaching a Coffee Gift Card too added the Twine and a Large Silver Jingle Bell!! This Tag Design would be PERFECT for ANY Holiday Occasion for ANY Recipient to share some Holiday Cheer!!
