HELLO and HAPPY FRIDAY!!
WOWOWWOWOW!! Is it Friday already!!??
OMG OMG OMG!! I'm NOT READY!! The week has flown by and I still have LOTS to do before my Surgery on Tuesday, but hopefully this Weekend will be a LONG one and I'll get LOTS done!!??

 

I'm here today to share the FUN Name that Bunny Contest that we are hosting with Newton's Nook Designs!! SQUEAL!! I have ALWAYS LOVED this Sweet Little Bunny and with SPRING approaching its the PERFECT time to give her a Name!! =) I've created Several Projects for today to help get you in the Mood for not only Picking a Name for this Sweet Little Bunny, but also to help get you MOTIVATED and INSPIRED to create!! I hope these Cards help you to do just that!!??

First I've created a FUN Window Card that uses the NND Garden Whimsy Stamp Set!!

SQUEAL!! This set is one of my Favorites!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE ALL of the Images that you can use to create some pretty AMAZING Scenes!! I Water Colored the Images using my Distress Markers and did LOTS of Masking in order to create the Scene!!

For my Next Card I decided to use the SWEET NND Bunny Hop Stamp Set!!

 

This is another one of my FAVORITE Stamp Sets!! Seriously, who doesn't LOVE a Bunny's Butt!!?? SQUEAL!! =) Just makes me HAPPY!! I wanted to create a Sweet Water Colored Scene as the Focal for my Card and then I teamed it with some BEAUTIFUL MFT Plaid Patterned Paper!! PERFECT Pairing for Spring!! =) I used the Silly Stitched Die Set from Lil' Inker Designs for the Card Panel and the Circle I Stamped my Scene on!! I LOVE the way it looks!! =) I used some Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Marker to add some SPARKLE to parts o my Scene!! Then a Sprinkling of Iridescent Sequins finishes off my Card Design!!

 

My Last Card uses SEVERAL NND Stamp Sets to create a REALLY SWEET Spring Scene!!
I Stamped and Embossed ALL of my Images after Masking in order to create a Realistic One Layer (ish) Card!! I used the NND Bunny Hop Stamp Set along with the NND Versatile Vases Stamp Set, NND Winter Tails Stamp Set, and the NND Newton's Daydream Stamp Set!! I used Distress Water Color Paper and Clear WoW Embossing Powder!! Then Distress Markers to Water Color the Images!! Some Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Marker adds just the right amount of SPARKLE!! =) Then just had to add a Fuzzy Pom-Pom for the Bunnies Tail!!

Newton's Nook Designs Inky Paws Challenge #18 - One Layer Cards!! ;)

I'm here to share the New Newton's Nook Designs Inky Paws #18 Challenge!! The theme for this Challenge is One Layer Cards!! Now I have to admit, One Layer Cards are not easy for me to create nor are they one of my favorite types of cards!! I think mostly just because I like dimension and layers and embellishments so I had to think long and hard about my card design for this Challenge!! I knew I wanted to use the New Bunny Hop Stamp Set and after looking through my stash I decided it would be FUN to create an entire scene!! So I stamped an entire scene using Masks in order to create a seamless stamped design!! I LOVE the way it turned out!! ;) It took a little planning and I ended up having to stamp it out three times in order to get the placement of everything just right, but in the end I think it was worth the effort!! I then decided that I wanted to Water Color it using my Distress Markers and my Acrylic Block and a Detailed Water Color Brush!! I ended up adding several layers of water color so that I could achieve the depth and color that I wanted!! Now I'm NOT an EXPERT Water Color artist, and even though I did take a couple Beginning Art Classes in College I feel like when you are using stamps as your base, you can add color in ANYWAY that you want and they are still going to look AMAZING!! So just go with your gut!! ;) I've used the Bunny Hop, Newton's Day Dream, Versatile Vases and Winter Tails Stamp Sets for all of my images!!

What do you think!!?? I added some Splatters at the end and actually covered my images with the Masks that I had made while stamping my scene because I didn't want to ruin ALL of the work I did Water Coloring the Images!! I used Black Soot, Pumice Stone and Picket Fence Distress Markers for this!! Once they were dry I went in with my White Gel Pen and added some highlights to the Images for even more dimension and interest!! I wanted some Sparkle so I colored anything that was colored with a Bright Color with a Clear Glitter Wink of Stella Marker!! Then I couldn't resist adding a Fluffy Tail!! I REALLY LOVE the way it turned out and I hope you'll join us over on the Newton's Nook Designs Blog for a chance to WIN!! I look forward to seeing what you create!! ;)

Newton's Nook Designs February Release ~ Bunny Hop!! =)

Hello!!

Are you ready for the Newton's Nook Designs February Release!!??

I think you're just going to LOVE it!! =) Today we are showcasing the New Set called "Bunny Hop"!!

As soon as I saw this Sweet Little Set I KNEW I just had to create a Front and Back Side to this SWEET Little Bunny!! It was SUPER EASY too!! All I did to create the Front View of the Bunny was to mask off the tail with some Washi Tape before I inked up my stamp!! I then Inked up my Bunny Image and then removed the Washi Tape before I stamped it!! I then took one of the Newton Images from the Sets that will be shared tomorrow and masked off everything except for the Face using Washi Tape again!! I inked up the Face and removed the Washi Tape and lined it up in the center of my Bunny Image and stamped the Face!! Then I just took my .3mm Copic Liner Pen and drew the little Mouth coming down from the Nose and then I decided to add some Eyelashes too beings I wanted it to be a Girl Bunny!! =) I then stamped and fussy cut some extra Bunny Tails for the other Bunny Images and used Foam Tape to pop them up!!I used my Copic Markers to Color in my Images and then I used a Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Marker to add some Sparkle!!

I just LOVE the way it turned out!! To create my Card Front Panel I used a New Winnie & Walter Katharine Cutaways Die and I just LOVE the Pierced Detail around the Edge of the Panel!! I then used a New Easter Egg Dies Set from Paper Smooches to create a Window in the Front of my Card!! I wanted to create a Sweet Little Scene inside the egg so I stamped the Grass Image from the Newton's Nook Designs Wild Child Stamp Set in Peeled Paint Distress Ink and added some more ink to the rest of my hill using a Foam Sponge!! I Fussy Cut the Grass Image out so that I could layer the Bunnies in amongst the Grass!! Then I Stamped and Embossed a few Egg Images and colored them in using my Copic Markers and the Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Marker to add some Sparkle!! I Fussy Cut them out and added them to the Grass in front of my Bunny Images!! I also decided she needed a Flower in her Hair so I stamped and Embossed the Little Flower Image and colored it with my Copic Markers and Fussy Cut it and added it to her Hair!! I decided to Stamp and Emboss my Sentiment on the Front of my card and my card was done!!

So what do you think!!?? Isn't this just the Sweetest Little Stamp Set!!?? =)
