Welcome to the Summer Fun Collaboration Blog Hop with Newton's Nook Designs and Studio Katia!! Both teams are celebrating the start of summer with fun and colorful cards using stamps from Newton's Nook Designs and dies and embellishments from Studio Katia!! There's prizes too! Both companies have a prize to give away too so make sure you read all the way to the bottom of this post to see how to win!
I've created a REALLY SWEET Shaker Card and a SWEET Gift Bag/Tag Set for today using SEVERAL Newton's Nook Designs Stamp Sets and Coordinating Dies and the NEW Studio Katia Dotted Ovals Creative Dies and their BEAUTIFUL Majestic Fusion Sequins, Iridescent Butterfly Confetti and their 3mm Googly Eyes!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE the way these products play together!!

 

For my Shaker Card I used the Studio Katia Dotted Ovals Creative Dies to create my Shaker Window in the Tim Holtz Distress Watercolor Paper!! For the Background of the Shaker Card I used the Tim Holtz Rays Stencil and Squeezed Lemonade, Mustard Seed and Fossilized Amber Distress Inks!! I added Water Splatters to add Texture!! Then I also added some Spectrum Noir Glitter Pen Splatters for some Sparkle Splatters too!! I filled the Window with the Studio Katia Majestic Fusion Sequins!! For the top of the Shaker I used the SWEET Aloha Newton Stamp Set!! I used Distress Inks to Watercolor the Image and then Fussy Cut it out!! For an Ocean behind the Scene I used the NND Sky Borders Die Set!! Then used Distress Inks to Ink it up!! I Splattered Water Droplets and Spectrum Noir Glitter Pen Splatters too!! I layered it all together and added some of the 3mm Googly Eyes to finish off Newton's SWEET Face!! I wanted some Texture to my Beach and some Shadows so I used some Copic Markers to add the Texture and the Shadows!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE the way it turned out!! =)

I used a Mama Elephant Gift Bag Die Set to create my Gift Bag!! Then I Stamped and Embossed my Images from the SWEET Aloha Newton Stamp Set!! Then I Colored them using Copic Markers and Fussy Cut the Images to Decorate the Front of the Gift Bag!! I used one of the Small Studio Katia Dotted Ovals Creative Dies to create my Scene Background!! I used the NND  Sky Borders Die Set to create a Mask and Inked the Background for a Cloud Sky using Tumbled Glass Distress Ink!! I added Foam Tape to attach the Newton Aloha Image and then thought it would be BEAUTIFUL to add some of the Studio Katia Iridescent Butterfly Confetti to the Sky as though they were Fluttering ALL around Newton and the Island Flowers!! Instead of just gluing them flat to the Background I wanted them to have some Dimension so I Pinched them in half and then just glued them in the center to the Background so they'd look as though they were Fluttering around!! I LOVELOVE LOVE the way it turned out!! I added some White Gel Pen Details and some Spectrum Noir Glitter Pen for some added Sparkle, Texture and Interest!! Then I used the NND Tags Times Two Die Set to Die Cut Two Tags from some Distress Watercolor Paper and Stamped and Embossed the Sentiment from the NND Tag Sampler Stamp Set and then added the Flower Image on top of the Tumbled Glass Inked Tag!! A Mini Silver Close Pin attaches them to the Gift Bag and helps to keep the Bag Closed as well!!

Newton's Nook Designs July Release 3 Year Celebration ~ Aloha Newton & Hibiscus Die Set!!

Today's the FORTH Day of the Newton's Nook Designs July Release and also happens to be the 3rd Anniversary Celebration too!! YIPPEE!! It's going to be an AMAZING Celebration this Week!! FULL of AWESOME New Products and a FUN Blog Hop on Friday with LOTS of chances to WIN!! Who doesn't LOVE LOVE LOVE to WIN!!??  =) I KNOW I DO!! So let's take a look at the Set we are Showcasing today!! The New "Aloha Newton" Stamp Set and the "Hibiscus" Die Set!! Here's a Look at them in their FULL BEAUTY!! =)

I have two Cards to share today!! I've used the New "Aloha Newton" Stamp Set!!

My Second Card I made using the New "Hibiscus" Die Set along with the New "Pineapple Delight" Stamp Set that was shared on Day Two of the Release!! SQUEAL!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE the way it turned out!! =) I painted some Distress Crackle Paints onto some Cardstock and let it Dry!! Then I Die Cut the Flowers from the Crackled Paper!! I added Distress Embossing Powder to a Gold Foiled Die Cut Pineapple and added some Gold Seed Beads to the Centers of the Flowers to Finish them off!!
