HELLO CRAFTY FRIENDS!!
I'm here as part of the AMAZING Inspiration Week where 2 of my FAVORITE Companies have Teamed up to share some AMAZING Inspiration and have some chances to WIN!!
I've create a FUN Interactive Project today and I CAN'T WAIT to share!!
For my Card today I wanted to create a Scene for the Caroling Newton Image!! So I started by Embossing the Brick Embossing Folder by Taylored Expressions and then inked it lightly using some Aged Mahogany, Pumice Stone, Scattered Straw and Gathered Twigs Distress Inks!! I Die Cut 2 of the Tall Trees from the New Forest Scene Builder Dies from some Therm O Web Deco Foil Toner Sheets that I foiled with Emerald Watercolor Deco Foil!! Inked the Tree Stumps using Gathered Twigs Distress Inks!! Then I sprayed them with some of my FAVORITE Therm O Web Iridescent Glitter Dust Spray!! It makes it appear to be lite up by Lights and in real life is SO PRETTY!! I added some Star Sequins for the Top of the Trees!!
The Window is a Die Cut from Taylored Expressions and I Die Cut it out from some Woodgrain Patterned Paper!! I inked it with Gathered Twigs and Dark Espresso Distress Inks, just to add some dimension!!
I backed the window with the Designer Toner Sheets in Starry Night that I foiled using Gina K Designs Gold Sequins Fancy Foil to make it look like Twinkling Lights!! I wanted a Christmas Tree on the inside of the Window too so I Cut 2 of the Trees from the Designer Toner Sheets in Rustic Winter from Therm O Web as I thought they resembled the Trees I had on the outside and I Foiled them with Emerald Watercolor Deco Foil and adhered them together to make the tree appear Larger!! The Window frame hide the seam!! I also adhered the Gold Star Sequin for the top of the Tree!!
I colored my Images with Copic Markers and added some Texture and dimension with a White and Black Gel Pen and some Tonic Studios Shimmer Pen and Nuvo Drops in Blizzard Glitter to the Hats and the small Images on the Music Sheets!! I also added some Expanding Snow to the Trees, the Window and the Ground to make it appear they are standing in some Freshly Fallen Snow!!
For the inside of my Card I used the Music Stencil and the Sentiment "Wishing you the Happiest of Holidays" from our new Ornamental Wishes Stamp Set to finish off the design!! I Stamped and Embossed the Sentiment off to the far side so it would show through the Window, but wouldn't show behind the Foiled Christmas Tree!!
SQUEAL!! I LOVE how FUN this turned out and will be sending it to someone REALLY SPECIAL for the Holidays!! I hope you feel INSPIRED and will join us ALL WEEK for even MORE Inspiration and chances to WIN!!
