Hello!!
Welcome to the Paper Sweeties August Inspiration Challenge #34 - Happy Birthday!! We are Celebrating Paper Sweeties 3rd Birthday so it only seems fitting that the Challenge for this Month has a Birthday Theme!! I thought it would be FUN to create a Beach Themed Birthday Card and I've used SEVERAL Stamp Sets to create my Card!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE how ALL of the Paper Sweeties Stamps coordinate and you can Mix and Match between the different sets to create SO MANY AMAZING Designs!! I started by Stamping and Die Cutting both Emma and Jack!! Then I've used the At the Beach Stamp Set and the Surf's Up Stamp Set to Create the Elements for my Beach Scene along with using the Outfits for my Doll Images!! I Water Colored all of the Images with Distress Inks except for Emma and Jack, I used my Copic Markers to color them!! I've used the Party Time Stamp Set and the Coordinating Party Time Die Set for the Balloons!! After I Water Colored the Balloons I used my Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Marker to add Sparkle and then coated them each with Four Layers of Wow Clear Embossing Powder!! I wanted to add some Flower Embellishments to my Girls Outfit so I used the Flowers from the Faith Hope Love Stamp Set and the You Are Tu-Tu Sweet Stamp Set!! The Base Background of my Card was Created using a PTI Balloon Bash Cover Plate Die!! I Die Cut it from Distress Water Color Paper and then used Tumbled Glass Distress Ink to Water Color it!! Once Dry I backed it with Vellum and then Colored on the Back Side of it with my Clear Wink of Stella Marker!! Its hard to see in the Picture, but in real life it just REALLY adds to the whole Birthday Scene Design!! I just LOVE the way my Card turned out!! =)

ReplyDeleteLOVE Jake's fish shirt! Had to mention that first! The whole scene is a happy day at the beach, and totally adorbs! Every detail is wonderful, Larissa. Those freckled sunburned cheeks are icing on a perfect sunny card!!!
