Newton's Nook Designs January Release ~ Newton Dreams of Paris!! =)

Hello!!
I'm back today to share the New Newton's Nook Designs January Release!!
Today we are showcasing "Newton Dreams of Paris"!!
I KNOW you're going to LOVE this set!!
 
I wanted to create a FUN Black and White Scene for my card today!! When I think of Paris this time of year it makes me think of ALL of the Romantic Black and White Movies that have been shot there so my card was inspired by that thought!!  =) I stamped the Sweet Couple first and then masked them and stamped the Eiffel Tower!! I then die cut the Image out using a Sizzix Heart Thinlits Die and a Sizzix Scalloped Heart Die to mate it with!! I wanted a FUN Water Colored Panel for behind my Images so I traced the heart outline with a pencil and added a Soft Pink Water Color to my Tim Holtz Water Color Paper Panel!! Once my Water Colored Panel was dry I die cut it using a Lil' Inker Designs Stitched Rounded Rectangle Die!! I then stamped and embossed my sentiment with Ranger Clear Embossing Powder over Versa Fine Black Ink!!
I wanted to ground my Heart Images so I took a My Mind's Eye # Washi Tape and a Red Foil Washi Tape border and created a Flag Strip to ground my Images!! I added a Soft Pink Felt Bow that was made using a Maggie Holmes/Crate Paper Die!! Then I added some Fancy Pants Designs and Simon Says Stamp Sequins for a touch of Sparkle and LOVE!!  =)

    I love that you kept the Newton and his friend black and white in did not color it. It does make you think of the romantic movies that are in black and white
