Hello!!

Can you Believe that March is half over already!!??

Spring and Easter are both just around the corner and this Months Release from Newton's Nook Designs is going to the PERFECT match for all those crafty things you need to make!! I have been having SO MUCH FUN using this SWEET New Stamp Set and I know your going to LOVE it too!! 

 I wanted to incorporate some Clear Gel Embossing Paste to give the look of actual rain falling and I really LOVE the look and texture it added to my card!! It's kind of hard to show the true affect of it in real life, but I have taken several different pictures to try and show just how FUN it is!! I just LOVE this SWEET Duck Image!! Isn't he the Cutest!! I LOVE that he can be positioned in several different ways too!!

I decided to paper piece him because I LOVE to paper piece!! I find it relaxing and FUN!! =)

I used papers from Crate Paper and a patterned envelope from Fancy Pants to stamp on and use as my image base!! I die cut a Stitched Rectangle using a Lil' Inker Designs die and I added some Clear Gel Embossing Paste and a few Mini Wooden Hearts for the look of more rain Drops on the envelope!!

I wanted the Umbrella and the Rain Boots to have a Rubber look so I used some Goosebumps Textured Spray that I applied with a Paint Brush for a nice glazed and textured look and in real life they look so real!! I added some Silver Faber-Castell Aquarelle Water Color Pencil Shading under the Duck to ground him and then I added some Moonstone Sequins for some extra shine and I LOVE the way it turned out!! Here is my Finished card!!
