Hello!!
Welcome to the November Blog Hop with The Craft's Meow!!
Today we are sharing some Christmas Inspiration!!
You should be coming here from the Awesome Blog of Karen Baker!!
I decided it would be FUN to share some ideas on ways you could use your Stamps to Dress Up some of your Holiday Gifts!! I LOVE making Cards for the Holiday's, but beings I already have all of the supplies I have really enjoyed the process of using my Stamps to create some Festive Holiday Packages too!! So here are some quick and simple ways to add a Handmade Touch to those Special Gifts!!
For my first Project I decided to create a Gift Card Holder using the WPlus 9 Envelope die!! I stamped the deer from the Christmas Blessing Set in Versa Mark and then used the Sticky Stuff to emboss it and added some Barn Door Distress Glitter!! I LOVE how this looks!! Then I wanted to distress the rest of the Envelope so I stamped the Postage Stamp from the Holiday Poinsettia Set!! I added a Sentiment from the Inside Christmas Set and the To: and From: also from the Holiday Poinsettia Set added a bow to keep it closed and my Gift Card Envelope was finished!!
I used a Tag Die from PTI and stamped the Northern Star from the Christmas Blessing Set and embossed it using Tarnished Gold Embossing Powder!! I added some Iced Spruce Distress Ink to make it look like and evening sky and then stamped a Sentiment from the Holiday Poinsettia Set!! For the back of the Tag I stamped the To: and From: ontop of another Northern Star Image and added a bow and some twine!! These would be so easy to make a bunch of and give for Holiday Gifts in sets of 10 or 20!! You could even use different tag shapes to make them even more FUN!!
For my last Project I have used a Gift Card Holder from PTI and die cut it out of kraft cardstock!! I stamped and embossed the Holly Image form the Christmas Lantern Set and then water colored it in using my Faber-Castell Aquarelle Water Color Pencils!! I added a light green tint to the whole card!! I stamped the Sentiment from the Inside Christmas Set and added it to the center of the Tag!! I LOVE how Simple yet classic this Tag is and I think you could dress this up by stamping and embossing the whole card base it you wanted!! So many options with these!!
So I hope I have Inspired you to use your Stamps for some AMAZING Holiday Package Ideas!! You're next stop is the Very Talented Blog of Lin Brandyberry!!
