The Craft's Meow

Hello!!
I hope you're ready to be Inspired on the TCM September Release Blog Hop!!??
You should have came from the very AMAZING Blog of Karen Baker!!
If not you can start over by visiting the TCM Blog for a List!!
I have three different projects to share today using three of the Stamp Sets being released this month!!
First up a Card I made using Autumn Borders!! So in LOVE with this set!! I stamped the Turkey Border three times!! Using Tim Holtz Distress Markers and an acrylic block I water colored each one and cut out different parts of each to create a layered border!! I LOVE the way it looks and the
dimension it gives to the border image!!  I stamped my sentiment and added a fun leaf element and my card was finished!!

For my next card I used the New Rustic Greetings Stamp Set!! I LOVE this set and I have already been using it a TON!!  =) Beings we live in the country and in a very Rural area most everyone I know LOVES the outdoors and hunting!! My mother is one of them!! She is an avid hunter, but also the BIGGEST animal lover!! Sounds kinda weird I know, but she only kills the animals she is going to eat!! So I made this next card for her!! =)
I started by stamping a FUN Striped Pattern onto vellum and then I used Antiquities Embossing Powders by Ranger in Rose, Ocher, Weathered White and Cement!! I LOVE the look of these powders in real life, and for a rustic card like this they are PERFECT!! To make it even more girlie and FUN I added some Antique Linen Distress Glitter to the mix using some Embossing Sticky Stuff  and it really adds a nice Antiqued Gold feel to the card!! I LOVE the New Distress Glitters!! To add even more interest after the Vellum was all Stamped and Embossed I added some Vintage Dictionary paper behind it and it only shows through the unembossed areas of the Vellum!! I stamped and embossed the Deer using the same Rose Antiquities Embossing Powder only to make it POP I stamped it Four different times and Embossed it each time to make the Image Thicker!! I then stamped the leaves under the image and then stamped them using the Sticky Stuff and added the Glitter and fussy cut them out t layer ontop of the stamped leaves!! I stamped and Embossed the Banner with Gold Embossing Powder and added my Sentiment!! I LOVE the way it came together and added some Burlap Twine, ribbon and a vintage button!!

For my last card I used the New Stamp Set Little Angels!! This is such a Sweet little set and I thought it would be FUN to try and make some Vintage Mercury Ornaments to give away!! I started by Die Cutting some of the mirrored Sheets by Tim Holtz using my Spellbinders Ornament Die!! I wanted to make it look like a Vintage Mercury Glass Ornament so I grabbed my Alcohol Inks and sponged on some Silver and Mushroom ink alternating between the two til' I got the look I liked!! I then added some Solution to blend it together alittle and I LOVE the way it turned out!!  I added a die cut circle and topped it with a Spellbinders Snowflake that I covered in some Vintage Blue Glass Glitter!! LOVE it!! I die cut another circle and added my paper pieced Angel ontop of that using foam squares!! I die cut a Tag and stamped my sentiment and added a Fussy Cut Holly Cluster to the top of the ornament!! I LOVE the way it turned out and I'll write a message on the inside of the card letting the recipient know that the Ornament can be removed easily from the front of the card and added to their tree!! =) I stamped some snowflakes and embossed them and my card was Finished!!

So hopefully you got some Inspiration for different ways to use these AMAZING NEW Stamps, all available in The Craft's Meow Store and if your purchase is $60.00 or more you'll get the Speaking of Fall Stamp Set for Free another MUST have set!! =)
