Looking Ahead!! =)

My has it been one of those months!! I know they sad BAD things come in threes, but three has been almost to much for me!!
Even with all of the bad there has been some VERY AWESOME things too!! =) So today I wanted to stop in and tell some of the GOOD THINGS I want to celebrate along with some of the Bad!!
(ALERT!! Maybe TMI so if  you don't want to read please skip to the Next Paragraph!!  THANKS for Understanding!!! =)
On Saturday we took Adam's dad to one of our Favorite Pizza Places to celebrate Father's Day with him and I got food poisoning!!  Man I was sick!! I have Ulcerative Colitis and Crohn's Disease which its very rare to have both, but I was diagnosed when I was 10 yrs. old and spent 3 years in Children's Hospital in Omaha!! This makes me ALOT more susceptible to these types of bacteria and mostly it just means I won't be traveling abroad in this lifetime because I would probably be SICK the entire trip and worst case scenario I'd die!! I just got released from the Hospital today and I am still not 100% myself, but I am WAY better than I was!! I think I lost about 6 gallons of fluid from both ends and I hope I don't have to go through anything like that again any time soon!! I am also breastfeeding my 5 month old and it is so AMAZING to me how our bodies work!! You would of thought with as sick as I was that my breast milk would have been lacking, but my body kept up with the demands!!  I got 6 liters of Fluids and some pain meds to make me feel better!! If you have never had food poisoning it is one thousand times worse than the flu in its worst case!! You literally feel like your going to puck up your entire insides because the non-stop vomiting is that violent, then you feel like you've been hit by a train because your abdominal muscles literally get torn and bruised from the violent non-stop vomiting and that is just the upper half of the equation!! =)  I am SO GREATFUL for all of the SWEET Get Well Wishes from all of you and for the AWESOME Blogs that gave me something to do yesterday once I started to feel better!! =)

I wanted to share some EXCITING things that have Happened~
One~ I was Featured on the Blog of the AMAZING and Talented Jill Foster!! I have been a HUGE fan of her work for some time and I REALLY enjoy her videos!! She has such a Great Style and the way she works with bright colors has always AMAZED me!! Anyway, if you want to see the post you can visit her Blog Here!!
Next~ I have had several cards featured on the Penny Black Facebook Page and I have been so EXCITED about that too!! I have been a HUGE FAN of Penny Black and their AMAZING variety of stamps for some time so its a real HONOR to be featured on their FBP!! =)
My last bit of news is the one I'm MOST EXCITED ABOUT!!!
I haven't really been one to pursue the whole publishing thing, which I think is mostly due to the fact that I LOVE creating and I didn't want to ruin how I felt about creating with rejections from the different publications so I was just HAPPY creating for myself and my loved ones and for the different challenges on the web!! Then this year I made it one of my goals for 2013 to Get Published!! So I have submitted stuff for the last two calls and YEAH!! I was so EXCITED when I got the E-Mail!! I will be PUBLISHED in the CARDS November 2013 Issue and the
Create: Christmas 2013 Magazine!! I was up late like I usually am and got the e-mail at 11:45 pm and I was jumping and screaming and I didn't even care if I woke everyone up cause I wanted to share my good news!! I ran to my bedroom and woke my husband up and we was like AWESOME congrats Hon way to go I knew you could do it!! The FUNNY part came the next morning I was getting ready for the day and my husband came in from his run and said "hey did you wake me up last night!!??" I couldn't remember if you did or if I was dreaming you did!!" I just started laughing and so I had to tell him my good news all over again!! I think a tornado could hit and if he was asleep he wouldn't realize it til morning he sleeps that hard!! Oh well, atleast I felt like I had shared my good news with someone which was all I needed at the time!! So I will post my cards once they are published!! =)

So if you've made it this far with me today I THANK YOU SO MUCH!! I usually don't do posts like this, but I feel like I needed to share!! =) I APPRECIATE your friendship and I ENJOY each and everyone of you!! THANKS AGAIN for stopping by and have a FABULOUS WEEK!! =)

  4. Roller coaster - that's what you've been on this past month! And I feel *sorry for myself* because I was evacuated from my home for three days? You've braved quite the storm yourself, and from what I've seen/read, appear to be making a most remarkable recovery! Strength of mind; strength of character! That positive, generous, uplifting spirit of yours just shines through! Great to know you're on the mend - and the good news (in a package of three!) is excellent and most well-deserved! Creative, talented and persistent - that's you in a nutshell! From 'shout-outs,' to features on blogs to publications in TWO editions of magazines - stellar! Ecstatic for you!! Thanks for sharing *you* with us, and know you have people in blogland who truly care about you!
Off to admire your cards I missed while on my wee adventure!

  5. Oh my gosh, I just read this! I really hope you are feeling better. I have a neighbor who is in and out of the hospital with Crohn's disease, unfortunately once she is in the hospital she normally catches something else from the other patients while in there and has to stay longer. She is only in her mid-twenties. I have a lot of chronic medical problems as well so sometimes we can relate to each other...meaning even though you may look fine on the outside you may still be in a lot of pain or have trouble moving fast or at all ect. But I still could not imagine how it really is for her. I really hope you are feeling better and recover quickly.
