I wanted to play along with the FUN Valentine's Challenge over on the Paper Smooches Blog for a chance to win some stamps and a die of the winners choosing!!  How AWESOME and GENEROUS!! I'd LOVE to win!! =) I can't think of a better way to end my Valentine's Day 2013!!
I wanted to play with a couple of the new dies I purchased from them that were just released at the beginning of the month and I can't  say LOVE THEM enough!!
I started out with the Stamp set and I stamped the largest stitched heart five times onto a Glitz Design red cardstock!! I cut them all out and colored them with my red glitter copic marker because I wanted the glitter look without the thickness of adding real glitter!! I then folded them on their stitched line and glued them together on the seams to create a fun 3-D heart!! I was thinking a vintage paper heart!! Then I used the New Frame Die and cut out one in cream and one in red!! Then I used a sizzix oval die to make the cut in the front of my card!! It was a perfect fit!! I added the patterned papers also from Glitz Design to the front of my card!! Then I pop dotted the cream frame over the oval in the front of my card to make a window!! I wanted an embossed background for my heart so I used a sizzix heart embossing folder and embossed the oval cut out from the frame!! I added the embossed oval to the center of my red frame and lined it up with the opening in the front of my card and adhered it down!! I then glued the 3-D heart to the center of the embossed oval!!  Perfect!! I also wanted to play along with the Moxie Fab World Challenge Trigger Tuesday I've got a Notion


So I decided to add some lace and glitter ribbon!! I layered a teal lace that matched my paper and to make it an even better match I inked it with alittle black ink to tone down the bright teal color!! Then I layered the red glitter ribbon then added a cream lace over the top of that to tone it down alittle bit!! I truly LOVE the way it turned out!! For the sentiment I added the I LOVE YOU under the red frame on the inside of the card!! Here is my Vintage Feeling Card!!
