Challenge #3 Topsy Turvy!! =)

I wanted to play along with the challenge this week over on the NEW blog A Blog Named Hero here:

I decided to use one of my Newer Stamp Sets from Hero Arts and OWH!!

I LOVE all of the sentiments and the images and I decided to go with a Star theme!!
So here is what I came up with:

 I wanted to emboss the sentiment "I thank mu lucky stars for you", with white embossing powder and then I cut a strip of chevron patterned paper from the Citron Paper collection from My Mind's Eye!! I die cut a set of star borders using a die set from Paper Trey Ink and layered them together!! I then die cut the start dies from a paper Trey Ink star die set and used the Hero Arts star stamp to stamp the center star!! I used dimensional adhesive to pop it up and stamped the sentiment.  I LOVE the color scheme and the way the card turned out!!
On another note:
We just got back from Beckett's Baseball Parade tonight!! =) I can't believe it is time for the T-Ball season to start!! This is his first year as he is only 5. They have 2 boys that are 5, 4 boys that are 6, 3 boys that are 7 and 3 boys that are 8 so they should be pretty balanced!! =)  Beckett is the one in the center with the grey sweatshirt on!! It was pretty chilly tonight!! We are supposed to get some rain and I hope that we do as the crops REALLY need it!! I just had to share this FIRST Picture and I'm sure I'll have several more throughout the next couple months!! =)  His first game is on Monday with Pre-K Graduation on Tuesday so we have a BIG week ahead of us!! =)
