The Five for $5 Challenge!! =)

We were challenged to make five cards for just $5.00.
I was SO EXCITED about this challenge and I LOVED all of the FABULOUS collections in the NEW
Practical Solutions for Paper Crafters Magazine by Paper Crafts.
Here are just a couple of the cards that were made by Betsy Veldman and were shown as INSPIRATION for the challenge!!

I not only LOVED the BEAUTIFUL colors, but I LOVED the fun little details that she added!!
I had won the Sole Sister Collection of papers from IMAGINISCE on their Blog here:
http://www.imaginisceblog.com/   I decided to use those papers for the challenge!!
   

Decorative 12x12 Papers: FREE  (but if purchased $.079 x 4= $3.14)
Canvas Stickers: FREE  (but if purchased $0.35)
White 12x12 Bazzil Cardstock: $0.72
TOTAL: $0.72  or $ 4.21 if you bought everything
(Plus I acually had LOTS of paper left over meaning you could probably make atleast 4 more cards for the AMAZING price of $4.21!!  =)

I made four cards and then a FUN Gift Card size (31/4 X 2/1/2) and an Envelope to go with it!! So I LOVE the collection and I know it will make a FUN gift set to give as a gift for a friend!!
Here is what I came up with:

I used the PRETTY papers and cut the images from them to make a FUN set of cards!!
I layered some of the images while others I left flat and I really like that different styles, but that they ALL flow and go together giving the recipient of this set a choice depending on the person she is sending it to!!
I hope you have enjoyed my set of cards for the FIVE for $5.00 challenge and that you'll look at your papers to see what images you can use to make a BEAUTIFUL set of cards out of!!
