HELLO CRAFTY FRIENDS!! 

I'm here with Day 3 of the 

Newton's Nook Designs October Holiday Release!! 

Today we're showcasing the NEW "A Kitten Christmas" Stamp Set + coordinating A Kitten Christmas Dies and "Christmas Puppies" Stamp Set + coordinating Christmas Puppies Dies!!

Let's take a look at the AWESOME New Set!!

Aren't these NEW Sets SWEET!!?? Here's what I've made for today!! 

For my first Project I've created a SWEET Gift Tag/Bag!! I ENJOY using my Holiday Images to create Gifts Tag/ Bags for the Holidays!! They make Gifts SPECIAL and I LOVE being able to get more out of my Images!! I Started by Stamping and Embossing my Images with Versa Fine Black Onyx Ink and Embossed with WoW Embossing Clear Gloss Powder!! Then I Colored the Image in using Copic Markers!! 

Red: R14, R37 & R39   White: N0, N1 & N3  

Kitten: E40, E42, E43 & E44  Green: YG61, YG63 & G19 

Cheeks & Inside of Ears: RV11

I Die Cut the Image out using the NEW coordinating A Kitten Christmas Dies!! 

Then I Die Cut a Fancy Edges Tag Die Set from some Distress Watercolor Paper and from a MFT Red Dotted Patterned Paper!! I Masked the Background of the Tag using some Purple Tape and Inked with Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink!! I added water splatters for some texture and then removed the Tape and Masked off the Sky and Inked the Ground using some Hickory Smoke Distress Oxide Ink!! I Stamped and Embossed the Sentiment!! I added some Morning Dew Nuvo Drops to the Berries and Candy Cane and added White Gel Pen Details and added a Mini Silver Jingle Bell to the Pom-Pom of the Hat!! I put together a FUN Ribbon Scrap Bow for the Top of the Bag and I just LOVE the way it turned out!! 

For my Next Card I'm using the SWEET Puppy Tangled in Lights!! SQUEAL!! This Image just makes me GIGGLE!! I KNEW I wanted to pair it with the Light Strings Stencil Set as soon as I saw this Image!! I personally LOVE Holiday Lights and we always drive around several of the Counties in our Small Rural Area taking in all of the BEAUTIFUL Light Displays!! I Started by Stamping and Embossing the Image and Colored it with Copic Markers!! 

Puppy: E40, E42, E43 & E44  Green: YG61 & G19 

Cheeks & Inside of Ears: RV11   Red: R14 & R39  Orange: YR02 & YR68   Yellow: Y11 & YR23  Purple: V01 & V06   Blue: BG13 & BG49  

Then I Die Cut the Image using the NEW coordinating Puppy Christmas Die Set!! 

I Die Cut a Circle from some Distress Watercolor Paper and Masked it with Purple Tape to Ink the Sky with Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink and added some Water Splatters for some Texture!! Then I removed the Tape and Masked off the Sky and Inked the Ground using some Hickory Smoke Distress Oxide Ink!! I added some shading to the ground using Copic Markers in N1 & N2 using my Colorless Blender to blend it out!! I added some Black and White Gel Pen Details and then I applied some Morning Dew Nuvo Drops to the Light Bulbs to add some Dimension and shine to them!! I KNEW I wanted to make the Light Bulbs look as though they were Glowing so I used some Distress Oxide Inks and some Q-Tips to add Ink around and behind the Light Bulbs!! I used the same Inks that I used for the Stenciled Background listed below!! 

For the Stenciled Background I applied Distress Oxide Inks in Candied Apple, Carved Pumpkin, Mustard Seed, Lucky Clover, Peacock Feathers & Wilted Violet with Ink Daubers!! Then I added the second Stencil and used Hickory Smoke to add the Light Strings!! I added some Water Splatters for some texture and some Shimmer Pen Splatters for some extra Sparkle and Shine!! Then I Die Cut a Black Cardstock Frame & Flags Scalloped Rectangle Frame!! Then I Die Cut the Banner Trio Die from some Fog Cardstock and Stamped and Embossed my Sentiment (SNEAK PEEK from a Set coming tomorrow) using Versa Fine Black Onyx Ink and WoW Embossing Clear Gloss Powder!! I Filled in the Sentiment with a White Gel Pen to help make it POP as though it was GLOWING too!! I added the Images with some Foam Tape and then added a few Silver Metallic Jewels for some added Sparkle and Shine!! I LOVE how this turned out, just makes me GIGGLE and I hope I've INSPRED you today!!??
