Newton's Nook Designs Holiday Release Day 2 ~ Newton’s Christmas Kittens, Purr-fect Present and Puppy Present!!

SQUEAL!!

         I'm here with Day 4 of the Newton's Nook Designs Holiday Release!! 

       Today we're showcasing the NEW  

"Newton’s Christmas Kittens", "Purr-fect Present" and "Puppy Present" 

+ coordinating Dies!! 

Let's take a look at the AWESOME New Products!!

 For my first Card I wanted to create a CAS Design so that the Family of Kittens was the Focal!! I just LOVE this SWEET Image as it makes me SMILE!! I also think this Image could be used Year Round for Birthday Cards, Thank You Cards, Retirement Cards or even Welcome to the Neighborhood Cards just by changing out the Sentiment!! I Started by Stamping and Embossing the NEW "Newton’s Christmas Kittens" Image!! I used Copic Markers to color in the Image!! (Cats: E40, E42, E44, E47 & E49  Cheeks and Inside Ears: R00  Reds: R43, R46 & R89  Greens: YG61, YG63 & YG67  Whites: N0, N2 & N4)

I Stamped and Embossed the Sentiment onto the bottom of the Card and then Inked the Background with Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink!! I added water Splatters to resemble Snow Falling!! Then I placed the Image onto the Card Panel using Therm O Web 3D Foam Squares!! I added some Hero Arts Sequins and added some Pretty Pink Posh Raspberry Jewels to the center of the Snowflakes for a POP of Color!! I added White Gel Pen Details and some Morning Dew Nuvo Drops to the Name Tags on the Collars!! I Die Cut the NND Framework Die Set from some Patterned Paper and adhered it to the Card Panel then adhered the Framed Panel to my A2 Card Base using Foam Tape for some Added Dimension!!  

For my Second Card I wanted to use the SWEET NEW "Purr-fect Present" Stamp Set Image for a FUN Interactive Shaker Snow Globe!! I LOVE Snow Globes especially during the Holidays!! These Images are the PUUR-FECT size for the NND Shaker Snow Globe Die Set!! I Colored the Image using Copic Markers (Same Colors as above) Then Die Cut the Image out!! I added White Gel Pen Details and some Shimmer Pen and Morning Dew Nuvo Drops to the Red Bow on the Present for some extra Sparkle and Shine and for some dimension!!  I Created the Snow Globe by Die Cutting the Top from White Cardstock!! I Inked the Frame with some Hickory Smoke Distress Ink and then Inked the Inside piece using some Tumbled Glass and Faded Jeans Distress Oxide Inks!! Water Splatters were added to resemble falling Snow!! I added the NND Acetate Sheets for the Window and then Die Cut the Frame again from some of the NND Double Side Foam Sheets!! Makes putting this Shaker Snow Globe together a breeze!! Especially if you're intimidated by Shaker Cards!! For the Base of the Snow Globe I wanted a Metallic finish so I Foiled a Piece of Therm O Web Toner Sheets with some Champagne Deco Foil and then Die Cut it out!! I Die Cut 3 more pieces from some TE Toffee Cardstock and adhered them all together for a thicker Base!! I wanted to add a Poinsettia so I Stamped and Embossed the Images form the NND "Poinsettia Blooms" Stamp Set!! I Die Cut them out using the coordinating "Poinsettia Blooms" Die Set and adhered them to the Shaker Snow Globe!! 

I used some Patterned Paper for the background and then Stamped and Embossed the Sentiment and used Copic Markers to color the Holly, I added Shimmer Pen and Morning Dew Nuvo Drops to the Berries!! I also added some Evergreen Bough Distress Oxide Ink to the Sentiment and behind the Snow Globe Image to make the Images POP!! I LOVE the way it turned out and think these would be SPECIAL to create for anyone this Holiday Season, but especially any of those Kiddos you may need Gifts for!! 

For my last Project I wanted to create a SWEET Gift Tag!! I LOVE being able to create personalized Gifts for the Holidays and this one is just the CUTEST!! I Started by Die Cutting the Tag from the NND Fancy Edges Tag Die Set!! I Stamped and Embossed the SWEET NEW "Puppy Present" Image and colored it in with Copic Markers!! (Same Colors as Above) Then Die Cut it out!! I Inked the Gift Tag with some Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink added some Water Splatters and then Stamped and Embossed the Sentiment!! 

I added some Shimmer Pen to the Hat and Bow and then added some Tonic Studios Morning Dew Nuvo Drops to the Hat Trim and the Bow on the Present to add some Shine and Dimension!! White Gel Pen details finish off the Design!! Then I added it to a Gift Bag I created using a Mama Elephant Gift Bag Die and added some Ribbon, Netting and Rusty Jingle Bells to Finish it all off!!
