Hello!!
SQUEAL!!
I'm here with Day 3 of the Newton's Nook Designs Holiday Release!!
Today we're showcasing the NEW
“Main Street Christmas” Stamp Set + "Holiday Finge" Stamp Set
+ coordinating Die Sets!!
Let's take a look at the AWESOME New Products!!
For my first Card I've used the NEW "Main Street Christmas" Stamp Set and coordinating Die Set along with the NEW Light String Stencil!! SWOON!! This might just be my FAVORITE card of the Release!! I started by placing the Light String Stencil onto my Card Panel after I sprayed the back of the Stencil with some Therm O Web Pixie Spray!! Then I applied some Therm O Web Deco Foil Transfer Gel using my Stencil Pal and removed the Stencil and set the Panel aside to dry!! After the Gel was dry then I cut a Piece of Deco Foil in Black and ran it through my Laminating Machine Color side up and this is what you get!! SQUEAL!! I LOVE that these layered Stencils make this process of using more than one color to Foil SO MUCH Easier!!
For the Second part I placed the #2 Stencil with the Light Bulbs already sprayed with the Therm O Web Pixie Spray on the back and placed it over the Top of the Foiled Strings lining it up with the etched design on the Stencil!! Then I applied more of the Deco Foil Transfer Gel with my Stencil Pal and sat it aside to Dry!!
Once it was Dry I cut little pieces of Therm O Web and Gina K Designs Fancy Foils in Glimmering Gold, Sparkling Silver, Radiant Red, Glittering Green, Dazzling Orange and Brilliant Blue and adhered them over the Transfer Gel using tiny pieces of Purple Tape to hold them in place!! Then I ran it through my Laminating Machine and I just LOVE LOVE LOVE the results!! I then took some Distress Inks in Mustard Seed, Wilted Violet, Candied Apple, Peeled Paint, Carved Pumpkin and Blueprint Sketch and Inked around the Bulbs to make them appear as though they are GLOWING!! I then added some Water Splatters to make it look like Snowflakes were falling!! Then I adhered some Hero Arts Snowflakes Sequins and a few Pretty Pink Posh Silver Jewels to the centers!! For the sentiment I Stamped and Embossed onto Black Cardstock using WoW White Embossing Powder and then for the Die Cut "Joyful" I Die Cut 5 Words and stacked them together!! For the top layer I used my Distress Inks in the same colors to create a Rainbow then Die Cut the Word!! I added some Shimmer Pen to the top and finished it with a Layer of Morning Dew Nuvo Drops and I LOVE the way it turned out!! I adhered both to a Layered Circle Die that I inked with some Tumbled Glass Distress Ink!! Isn't it AWESOME!!?? I want to make MORE of these for ALL of the SPECIAL People in my my Life!! ESPECIALLY the ones who LOVE EVERYTHING Rainbow just like me!!
For my Last Card I wanted to use my Zig Clear Color Real Brush Markers so I Stamped and Embossed the NEW "Holiday Fringe" Image onto some Bristol White Cardstock!! Then I used the Zig Markers along with the Zig Blender Marker to Watercolor the Image!! I LOVE the BRIGHT Colors you can achieve with the Zigs!! Its just BEAUTIFUL!! I used the NND Frames Squared Die Set to Die Cut the "Holiday Fringe" Panel!! I Stamped and Embossed the Sentiment in the center and used a White Gel Pen to Color in the MERRY then I also added some White Gel Pen Details just to make the Images POP!!
I added some Shimmer Pen to ALL of the Red Colord Images and then I added some Morning Dew Nuvo Drops over the Red Bows, the Lights, The Candy Canes and the Tops of the Ornaments just to add some extra Shine and Dimension!! I layered the Panel with some Blue Cardstocks and added some Distress Ink to the edges to make it POP!! Then adhered it to the Scalloped Frame also from the NND Frames Squared Die Set in Black Cardstock!! I adhered it with Foam Tape to a Square White Cardbase and my Card and added a Few Pretty Pink Posh Iridescent Jewels and my Card was done!! I LOVE the way it turned out!!

ReplyDeleteWhat wonderful creativity Larissa. The shaker card with embossing makes the words jump off the page. The light on the card do look like they are on and glowing. The tag does look like the dog is coming out of the box the way you embossed, colored and added the Nuvo drops. Then the Holiday Fringe stamp the bows how you made them shimmer before adding the Nuvo drops. Thank you, I learned a few tips from you.
