July 12 Tags of 2013 with Tim Holtz!! =)

WOW!! It's August already tomorrow!!
Where has July went so FAST!!??
Only 20 short days of Summer Vacation left for my sweet Beckett and he will be a 1st Grader!! So SAD, but EXCITING at the same time!! I will miss him being here to help keep Greyson occupied while I'm trying to get things done and I think Greyson is going to miss him being here too, he just doesn't know it yet!! =)
Anyway, I'm here to share the Tag I made for the July 12 Tags of 2013!!
I didn't have a Brayer, so I used a paper towel and I actually liked the look I got!! I also stamped with my Stain for the first time and I really like the way it turned out so I will be trying this again only maybe on some background stamps!! I used Festive Berries, Chipped Sapphire and then added in the Brushed Pewter for some shimmer!! OHOHOHOHOH~how I LOVE the added shimmer this gives and when applied with a paper towel it is really just a dusting of color instead of a full coverage of color!! I will be using this technique again too!! =) I wanted my images to pop more so I traced them with my Picket Fence Distress Marker and the Chipped Sapphire Marker!! I really like the bit of interest it added!! For the stars I stamped and embossed them using Fine Detail Pewter Embossing powder and cut them out then I used my Brushed Pewter stain on the paper towel and swiped them to cover and I really like the way they turned out!! I didn't have the Die Tim used for his tag so I used the BluePrint Stamps and the stains to create my own design!! I really LOVE the way it came together!!  Here are some pictures of my finished tag!!

THANKS so much for stopping by and have a FABULOUS WEEK!!

Happy Birthday Friend with Penny Black!! =)

I hope your week is off to a GREAT Start!!??  =)
I wanted to share a card I made for the FUN Challenge over on the Case Study Challenge Blog!!
We were given this Card Photo for our Inspiration!!

Isn't it AWESOME!! Jocelyn Olson has been the Muse for the month of July!! =)
SO I decided to use some of my New Penny Black Inc. Stamps and Dies for my card!!

I wanted to play along with the Challenge they are hosting on their Blog and this is what I came up with!!

I started by die cutting the Large tag from the New Tagged Die Set!! Then I took the solid  Butterfly Die from the Delicate Wings Die Set and cut a Butterfly hanging off of the tag!! I then used my Hero Arts Ink Daubers in Neon Orange, Yellow and Pink and colored some cardstock then die cut the Solid Butterfly Dies again once from each color!! I then die cut the Delicate Butterfly out of and again out of black for the body of the Butterfly!! I attached them all together and then took the dots die and die cut the base of my card using it!! I backed it with some black and then added some Neon Paint splatters to my card base!! I stamped the Happy Birthday from the Penny Black Edge to Edge Stamp Set only inking a portion of the stamp to go across my tag at an angle and I LOVE the way it came together!!
I hope you'll visit the different blogs and play along or just to see all of the AMAZING Inspiration that has been shared!!
I am also going to link this up to the Moxie Fab World Birthday Card Challenge!!  =)

THANKS for stopping by and have a FABULOUS WEEK!! =)

I'm here to share a Card I created for a couple different challenges!!
First the Color combo was inspired by The Play Date Café Challenge!!

YUMMY!! Loving these colors together!!
The design of  my card was Inspired by a Card that Jennifer McGuire created for the Online Card Class SUMMER CARD CLASS 2!!
I was also inspired by the Moxie Fab World Challenge: Trendy Triangles and the
Birthday Card Challenge!!

So here is what I came up with!!

Here is a Profile photo so hopefully you can see 3-D Triangles!!
I used my Hero Arts Neon Yellow ink dauber to create my paper then I punched a 1/2 square and scored it to give me my triangle shapes!! I then used a 3/4 scalloped square and repeated the scoring and adhered the neon inside!! I wanted dimension so by doubling the cardstock the card will hold its shape really well!! I layered them to create a FUN Triangle Background and it eliminated 1/2  the work by using a couple punches and then scoring them to make my triangles!! I added some small little hearts popped up on the inside of the openings for a sweet touch!! I white embossed my sentiment from the  Hero Arts GLOW GIRL Stamp Set!!  I just LOVE the way this turned out and I hope you do too!!??

THANKS for stopping by and have a Fabulous Week!!

Time for the ANYTHINGS GOES Challenge over on the
Paper Smooches SPARK Challenge Blog!! =)
We only get a handful of these in a year so make sure you pull out your FAVORITE Paper Smooches Stamps and dies and come play along with us this week for a chance to win a $30.00 Shopping Certificate to the Paper Smooches Online Store!!
You'll have until 10:59 pm EST on August 4th to enter!!
I decided to use SEVERAL different Stamps and dies to create a REALLY Fun 21 Birthday Card!!
I wanted to create a Beachy Island Resort Drink and a background to go with it!! So I used the Rays Die to act as the SUN Shining down on the Drink which I created by stamping the Jar and then die cutting a piece of vellum to layer over it!! I stamped the straw and cut it out and made two slits in the jar so it would be behind the Ball image!! I then thought it would be FUN to create an Umbrella cause what Beach Resort Drink is served without one!!?? So after looking through my stamps I decided the Record from the Beboppin Set was PERFECT!! I stamp and embossed it and then used a scallop circle punch to cut it out!! I dry embossed it into wedges and then folded it to create an umbrella!! I added a wooden toothpick and added it to the jar!! I then die cut the Rectangles die and created a table!! I stamped my sentiment and then finished the inside of my card!!

For the inside of the card I used the Large Inside Rectangle for the base and layered the medium rectangle using two different colors!! I die cut the Digits and Numbers Dies together after I stamped the Digits Stamp and embossed it!! I then stamped the Happy Birthday sentiment and I LOVE the way it turned out!!
THANKS so much for stopping by today and I hope you'll stop by the other PSS DT Blogs to see what AMAZING Creation they have created for the ANYTHING GOES Challenge!! I hope to see your creations!!

Hello Again!!
Just a real quick post to share the card I made today after seeing the final video for the Online Summer Card Class 2 I have been taking!!
I decided to try a Shaker Card, because I have never made one before and I thought it would be FUN to use the Sketch #1, but make a couple changes!! I decided to make all of the stars windows and shakers!! I also used some of the WoW Neutral Ultra Shimmer Embossing Glitter and embossed a star pattern on the inside of the mini star windows just to add to the look when all of the glitter, sequins and mica are at the bottom of the windows!! I LOVE the FUN look it adds!! I will totally be giving this shaker styled card a try again!! So here is my FUN Card hope you like it??
The pics don't do it justice, but hopefully you can see it well enough!! =)

All of the stamps and dies I used are by Lawn Fawn!!

I followed a sketch from the Retro Sketches Challenge #73!!

Post Card Inspired!! =)

I'm here to share a FUN Card I've made for a couple challenges!!
First the IO Stamps Pack your Bags Challenge!!
Next for the Colour Q Challenge!!

So I thought it would be FUN to create a Post Card Themed Card!! I just LOVE the Paris Post Card stamp from IO Stamps!! I stamped it several times and then cut out all of them and colored them using Distress Inks!! I arranged them onto my card base and glued them down!! I took my Faber-Castell Aquarelle watercolor pencils and added so shading in between them so it would add dimension and make them really look they were all stacked up!! I added vellum to the top of that and then took another post card image and colored it using the same Faber-Castell Aquarelle watercolor pencils!! LOVE the aged  feel it gives to the post card!! I stamped a separate stamp and cut it out to add more of a realistic feel!! For the butterfly I colored it and then  added versa mark and some WoW  Natural Ultra Shimmer Embossing Glitter!! Man it is a Neat look!! I added a BEAUTIFUL die cut edge using the IO Stamps Border Duo 1 Die set and added some gems and a ribbon and that finished off my card!! I LOVE the way it came together!! Here are some pictures of my finished card!!

THANKS SO MUCH for stopping by today and have a FABULOUS WEEK!!  =)

Hello and Happy Hump Day!! =)
I wanted to stop in and share some cards and let you know that I am up as Guest Designer over on the Design Memory Craft Blog today!! I am sharing a video on how to Emboss with your Gelatos using your Wafer Thin Dies and Embossing Folders!! I sure hope you'll stop by and check it out!! Here are the projects I share how to make in the video!!

I am also taking the FUN Online Class Summer Card Class 2 and this last card uses the very unusual color combo!! I had a BLAST creating this card and LOVE the way it turned out!! I have also used the card class sketch #3 only I decided to flip it!! I had FUN creating the angled sentiment like Nichole Heady shared on her card in class!! I used a Stampin`Up Embossing Folder and embossed it using Gelatos in Snow Cone!! I then die cut some mini snowflakes from a WPlus 9 die in lavender and added some darker purple gems from Prima!! I then Embossed some letter dies from PTI and then Die Cut them making sure that the bottom of the die didn't get cut and stayed attached to the top of the cardstock piece!! I then stamped my sentiment also from PTI in a Dark Sepia!! I matted it with a Chocolate MFT cardstock and then a Kraft card base!! I inked everything with Old Paper Distress Ink and I really LOVE how it turned out!!
I hope you'll visit the Design Memory Craft Blog to see more on my Embossing Technique!!
THANKS So Much for stopping by and have a FABULOUS WEEK!!

Noel with a Twist!! =)

I'm here to share a card I made with two challenges in mind!!
The JustRite Friday Challenge #101 - "Christmas In July" and the Colour Q Challenge!!
I thought it would be a really Fun and Beautiful idea to challenge myself to make a Christmas Card using these non-traditional colors!! So here is what I came up with!!
I started by embossing my mini ornaments from the Justrite Vintage Christmas Ornaments Stamp Set in Ranger Adorandack Stream embossing powder!! So Pretty!! I did the same thing with the larger ornament from the same Stamp Set!! I then fussy cut them out and added some gems and some metallic tape to the tops for a more realistic Christmas Ornament look!! For my card base I stamped a pretty Holly Swag using the Holly from the same stamp set!! I did some second generation stamping for a more realistic look!! I then stamped the whole front with the Shabby Music Background Stamp and I LOVE the feel it added to my card!! I then added some tourmaline glitter with a glue pen to the holly berries!! I stamped the label from the Christmas Vintage Labels Four Stamp Set and added some holly to the center of it using the mini holly sprig from the Christmas Labels Twenty Stamp Set!! I wanted it to look like a wreath and I LOVE the way it turned out!! I added my mini ornaments to the swag and I added some wire that I stitched to my card to make them look like they were really hanging!! I added the wire to the larger ornament too and then pop dotted it to the label and used foam squares to add the label to my card!!
So here are some pictures of my finished card!!

Well I hope you think this color combo is as BEAUTIFUL as I do for a Christmas Card!!??

THANKS for stopping by and have a Fabulous Week!!  =)

Hey Goergous, Happy Birthday!! =)

I am taking the FUN Online Card Class Summer Card Class 2 and we were given some FUN New color combos on Friday along with some really Neat card ideas!! I wanted to create a card that was Inspired by the on Jennifer McGuire made in her video only using one of the New Color Combos!!
I got a New Stamp Set Beautiful Roses from The Craft's Meow and I knew this would make the  PERFECT stamp set for my card!! I stamped the image in Versa Fine Smokey Grey Ink and then cut it out after I colored it with my Aquarelle Water Color Pencils by Faber-Castell!! I then stamped the image again only onto Vellum this time and embossed it with Zing Charcoal Embossing Powder!! I cut out the rose and colored it front and back with my Faber-Castell Gelatos!! I layered a couple different colors and LOVE the way Gelatos looks on vellum!! =) I wanted a mat and decided to go with the New Spellbinder's Decorative Labels Eight Frame!! I then cut a white Labels Eight to attach it to and I LOVE the way it turned out!! For the Base of my card I created a Tri-Fold and thought it needed something more so I added the New Spellbinder's Basic Lattice Die to the front of the card base and I LOVE how it coordinates with the Stamped Label image and really grounds it!! I attached the label to end of the flap and it creates a FUN Card to open!! On the inside of the card I decided to play around with some of the Masking Ideas we have been taught in class ONLY instead of using ink I wondered if I could do the same thing only using Embossing powders!! I used a New Stamp Set       Life's Messages from Penny Black and stamped it in Versa Mark and then masked each sentiment and added my different embossing powders!! I found that it was alittle harder to keep things separated once applied, but I still LOVE the finished result!! I will TOTALLY be trying this technique again!! =)
Here are some finished pictures of my card!!

I am also linking this up to the Birthday Card Challenge over on the Moxie Fab World Challenge!!
THANKS so much for stopping by and have a FABULOUS WEEK!!

Look at this Beautiful Image we were given as Inspiration for the
Tuesday Trigger Challenge over on the Moxie Fab World Blog!!
This is one of my Favorite's for this year and I couldn't wait to play along!! I am taking the Online Class Summer Card Class 2 and we were given colors and sketches and this image gave me an idea!! We were given some NEAT embossing Inspiration in class this last week and I thought it would FUN to try and layer the embossing powder on vellum!!?? I wasn't sure if it would work or how it would turn out and boy did it turn out BEAUTIFUL!! I LOVE the color and the see through quality of the vellum!! I used the Blooming Roses Stamp set from MFT and a sentiment from Paper Smooches Salutations Stamp Set!! I fussy cut all of the images and added some lace from Webster's Pages that resembles the lace in the photo!! for my card base I water colored it a light turquoise by mixing Snow Cone and Metallic Green Gelatos with water!! In real life it has a very subtle shimmer that adds to the Beautiful feel of this card!! I layered it with a piece of vellum and added my elements on top!! I used a Zing Charcoal Embossing powder for my sentiment so it wouldn't be to harsh of a contrast!! I LOVE the way it came together!!
Here are some pictures of my finished card!!

THANKS so much for stopping by and I hope you have a Fabulous Week!!  =)
