HELLO CRAFTY FRIENDS!!
I'm here with Day 4 of the
Today we're showcasing the NEW "Holiday Post" Stamp Set + coordinating Holiday Post Dies and "Christmas Roundabout" Stamp Set + coordinating Christmas Roundabout Dies!!
Let's take a look at the AWESOME New Set!!
SQUEAL!! These might be my TWO FAVORITE Sets for this Release!! I just LOVE these Images and I can't wait to share what I've created with them!! Let's get Started!!
For my first Card I'm using the NEW Holiday Post Stamp Set along with the Main Street Christmas Stamp Set to create my Scene!! I LOVE how SWEET this NEW Holiday Post Image is and that there are ENDLESS ways that you can use it, whether its on its own or used to create a Scene its SURE to bring SMILES during this time when Holiday Happy Mail is going to be SO IMPORTANT to let those SPECIAL to us KNOW that we're thinking of them even if we aren't able to get together with them!!
I Started by Stamping and Embossing the Images using Versa Fine Black Onyx Ink and WoW Embossing Clear Gloss Powder!! I colored them with Copic Markers!!
Puppy: E11, E13 & E99 Kitty: E40, E42, E43 & E47
I Started by Stamping and Embossing the Images using Versa Fine Black Onyx Ink and WoW Embossing Clear Gloss Powder!! I colored them with Copic Markers!!
Puppy: E11, E13 & E99 Kitty: E40, E42, E43 & E47
Red: R14, R37 & R39 Green: YG61 YG63 & G19
Letters: E81 & E84 White: N0, N2
Blue Green: BG70, BG72 & BG78 Snow: BG000 & BG11 Yellow: Y11, Y15 & YR23
Turquoise Windows: BG00, BG13 & BG45
Grey Roof: N8, N5 & N3 Brown Roof: E33, E37 & E39 Tan Building: E40 & E42
Then I used the NEW coordinating Holiday Post Die Set and the coordinating Main Street Christmas Die Set to Die Cut the images out!! Then I added some White & Black Gel Pen Details and some Shimmer Pen to the Bows, Scarves, Windows and Snow for some Sparkle!!
For my Card Panel I Started by Masking off both the Sky and the Ground with Purple Tape after I determined where the Main Street Christmas Image was going to be placed!! I Inked with Speckled Egg Distress Oxide Ink and Iced Spruce Distress Oxide Ink in order to create a Snowy Day feel!! I added some Hickory Smoke Distress Oxide Ink just to the Ground for some shading to represent shadows then I added some Water Splatters and some Picket Fence Distress Paint Splatters for some Snow!! I also added the Picket Fence Splatters to both of the Die Cut Images as well as I wanted it to appear to be Snowing in my Card Scene!! Then I Stamped and Embossed the Snowflakes from the set with WoW Embossing Ink and WoW Embossing Bright White Powder and Heat Set them!! Then I Die Cut another Card Panel from some Vellum!!
I Stamped the Sentiment from the NEW Holliday Post Set onto the Vellum with StazOn Pigment Ink positioning it in between the Building and Embossed Snowflakes!! Then I adhered it to my Card Panel after I adhered the Main Street Image!! Next I used the Sea Borders Die Set to create my Snow Bank!! I noticed that the curve of the Sea Borders Die matched the Curves of the Holiday Post Image so that was my deciding factor for using it!! Then I inked it with some Speckled Egg and Iced Spruce Distress Oxide Inks to add some Shading and to coordinate with the background Scene!! I adhered it to the Card Panel and then adhered the Holiday Post Image using some Foam Tape!! I Die Cut a Framework Frame from some SSS Smoke Grey Cardstock using the Framework Die Set and adhered the Card Panel to the Frame and adhered it to a White Cardbase using some Fun Foam!!

SWOON!! I just LOVE the way this Scene turned out and it REALLY makes the Holiday Cheer Shine through!!
For my Second Card I wanted to try something I've NEVER done, but I've ALWAYS wanted to try!! Coloring with my Copic Markers to Color on Kraft Cardstock!! SQUEAL!! I'm not sure what has taken me SO LONG to try this, but I'm so HAPPY I finally gave it a try and I'm definitely HOOKED!! I'll be doing this MORE for sure as I absolutely LOVE the results!! If you haven't given this a try either, I hope this Card INSPIRED you to give this a try!! TRUST me, you'll be HOOKED as well!! 😉
I Started by Stamping and Embossing the NEW Roundabout Christmas Image onto some TE Toffee Cardstock using Versa Fine Black Onyx Ink and some WoW Embossing Clear Gloss Powder!!
