Hello!!
SQUEAL!!
I'm here with Day 2 of the Newton's Nook Designs January Release!!
Today we're showcasing the NEW “Love Quarry” Stamp Set + coordinating "Love Quarry" Dies!!
Let's take a look at the AWESOME New Set!!
As soon as Greyson and I Saw this Set we KNEW he wanted to use it to make his Valentine's for his Classmates!! So I went on Line and found some of the FUNNEST Items to use and it makes these not only EASY and QUICK to make, but also a SPECIAL Personalized Valentine Gift from Greyson!!
I Started by Stamping and Embossing my Images onto Tim Holtz Distress Water Color Paper using Versa Fine Black Onyx Ink and WoW Clear Gloss Embossing Powder!! I then used my Copic Markers to color them in!! I use Truck Bodies/Hearts: Y11, Y15 & Y23 Truck Cabs: R43, R46 & R89 Windows: BG0000, BG11 Wheels/Frames: N0, N2, N4 & N8 Pink Hears: RV02, RV09 & RV19
I then used the cordniating Dies to Die Cut them out!!
For the Bases I wanted to create an opening in order to slip the Suckers, Pencils and the Slap Bracelets into, so I used the Frames & Flags Die Set to create my Bases!! I used a mixture of White 110 lbs. and Chalkboard Pattern Paper that I backed with White Cardstock for some added weight!! I used the Dies to judge the placement of each of the Truck with the Suckers and ran them through my Die Cut Machine and just cut the Top and Bottom edges, leaving the side adhered so I'd have a Slot by using the Tim Holtz Dimensional Cutting Plate!!
Then I adhered the Images over the Die Cut Opening and you have a Decorative Slot to tuck the Goodies behind!! It's such an EASY process using the Plate, but you can also do the same technique just by running it through twice making sure just to Cut the Top and Bottom edges of the Images!!
I found all of the AMAZING Goodies through a Nebraska Store called Oriental Trading!! They even ship through Amazon, so if you see something you like I hope you'll check them out!! The Suckers were SO EASY to create just by uploading the Image and the stickers are Printed Vinyl which means they can keep them if they choose!! Here's a LINK for the Construction Goodies they Carry!! I'm ALWAYS IMPRESSED with their shipping as well, usually FREE and I got this order in 3 Days!! WHOOP WHOOP!! I hope I've INSPIRED you today and I already know these are going to be a HUGE HIT with Greyson's Classmates this Valentine's Day!! Infact I'm pretty sure he's already shared what we've made and they're just counting down the days until they get them!! Makes my HEART SO FULL!! 💓
