Newton's Nook Designs March Release ~ Cottage Garden!! =)

HELLO!!
Happy Wednesday and Welcome to the Thrid day of the New Newton's Nook Designs March Release!! Today we're showcasing the New "Cottage Garden" Stamp Set + Coordinating Die Set!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE these New Images and the New Dies and think you will too!! Let's take a Look at the FULL Sets, Sold Separately available Friday March 17th, 2017!!
SQUEAL!! How SWEET are those Images and that Die Set!!?? I LOVE LOVE LOVE the Beautiful Floral/Folk Art Details!! I CAN'T WAIT to share what I've made!!
How AMAZING is this "Cottage Garden" Stamp Set!! SWOON!! I'm in LOVE!! =)
I started with a Grey Card Base and then Die Cut a Lawn Fawn Fancy Scalloped Rectangle Panel and a Stitched Rectangle Panel!! I wanted to Play with my New Distress Oxide Inks and wanted to see if I could Water Color on the Stamps with them and Stamped using my Misti!!?? I found out that the Details and the Stamping are BEAUTIFUL!! =)

How FUN!!??  This is what the Panel Looked like after I Stamped it!!  =) Which on its own would make a BEATIFUL Card!! But I wanted to see what would happen if I Sprayed it with Water!! Well it Reacted and Bled until the Images were No longer a Detailed Image of Stamping anymore (similar to regular Distress Inks) except the Stamping is WAY more Crisp and the Colors are Variegated in hue and intensity!! It kept the Colors contained in there place so I Decided how AWESOME would it be to take the Stamps and Stamp and Emboss right over top of the Image I had initially Stamped with the Watercolor Distress Oxide Ink!! I Stamped with Vesa Fine Black Onyx Ink using my Misti to Line everything up and to be able to Double Stamp beings they are Solid Images!! The I covered them with Clear Embossing Powder and Heat Set them!! I then took the matching Dies and Die Cut them out and placed them to create my Folk Art Pattern!!  I used the NND Flag Die from the Garden Window Die Set and Die Cut a Banner from some Black Cardstock and Embossed the Sentiment with White Embossing Powder!! Then I added some Faceted Gems to the Centers of the Flowers!! Black to the Bottom Flowers and a Redish/Pink Colored Gems for the other Flowers!!  I LOVE the way it turned out and hope you'll give this FUN technique a TRY!! =)
