Hello!!
Today we are starting off the Newton's Nook Designs July Release with the New Set called "Newton's Naptime"!! SQUEAL!! The most AWESOME News is that this is ALSO the day we get to ANNOUNCE that Newton's Nook Designs is now offering Coordinating Dies to go along with Select Stamp Sets!! YIPPEE!! "Newton's Naptime" is one of those Sets!! Here's a closer look at both the Sweet "Newton's Naptime" Stamp Set and the Coordinating "Newton's Naptime" Die Set!!
How Sweet is this Set and how AWESOME is it that there's a Coordinating Die Set!!?? I'm SO EXCITED!! I wanted to create a Recessed Inlayed Design for my card today and I LOVE the way it turned out!! I Stamped and Embossed my Image and then Die Cut it out using the Coordinating Die!! I then Cut my Card Front Panel and a Piece of Double Thick Fun Foam then used the Coordinating Die to create a Window in both of them!! I Glued them together to create my Card Front!! Then I used Copic Markers to Color in my Image!! I used RV17, RV55, R20, R22, YG11, YG17, G00, BG23 for the Blankets and N0, N1, N4, N6 & RV02 for Newton!! I then adhered it to the Inside of my Card Front Window after I adhered it to a Folded Card Base that I added a Strip of Stripped Patterned Paper too!! I used the Sweet Little Word Bubble Die for my Sentiment and Stamped and Embossed the Sentiment Masking part of it so that I could create a Two Toned Sentiment with some WoW Embossing Powder in Fruit Punch!! I also added a Die Cut Heart also from the Coordinating Die Set that I Colored to match with my Copic Marker and then added Embossing Powder to just the Center of the Heart!! I LOVE the way it came together and I LOVE being able to create a Recessed Inlayed Design!! SQUEAL!! I LOVE the Coordinating Dies!! =)
