Water Colored Summer!! =)

Colors of Summer Challenge over on the IO Stamps Blog!!
I wanted to play along with the Challenge and I thought it would be FUN to do a Water Color Technique on the card and I wanted to use the Solid Frilly Butterfly Pair Stamp  and Matching Butterflies Die. I first took some cardstock and added some watercolor spots!! After it was dry I then inked over the entire background using Antiqued Linen Distress Ink and then I stamped the whole Card Base with the Canvas Background Stamp in Kraft Ink one of my ALL TIME FAVORITE STAMPS!!  =) I then inked up the Butterfly stamps and stamped them creating the Water Colored Butterflies and I LOVE the way they turned out!! I lined up the matching dies and die cut them!! I then added some pearls for their bodies and added them to my card base!! I added some twine and my card is ready for any occasion needed!!

THANKS for stopping by and have a Fabulous Week!!  =)

Great card! I love how you created your watercolor panel and then used twine where it stops! And the butterflies are beautiful in those colors! Great work! Thanks for sharing.

Beautiful! Love the watercolor effect on both background and butterflies as well as the unfussy design. I'am with you on the CAC canvas, it's one of the most versatile.
