WOW!! What a FUN INSPIRATION Photo over at the Moxie Fab World Blog here:
Also in the A Cut Above class we are learning to use die cuts to make our own embelishments so I decided to I wanted to play with felt!!
So I took my Que from the colors and went to work!!
I free hand cut my felt bird base and then die cut several different daisy flowers using a My Favorite Things Die. I wanted to use THREE colors like the trigger word suggested so I went with a fun teal, green and light grey!! I added a daisy paper cut out for the eye with a knot in the center and stitched around the edge of the bird!! I used a Paper Trey Ink sentiment stamp and white embossed it to pop it off the page!! Here is my card!!
For my second card I felted a cutie little bird out of green loose felt and then added the felt heart and word set from a MME paper stack!! I also added the fun doily cut out image from the same MME stack! I then added the vintage ribbon and the May Arts Burlap Twine ribbon!! Here are some close up pictures!!
I LOVE the way they turned out!! THANKS for stopping by and have a FABULOUS WEEK!!
