Newton's Nook Designs September Release ~ Day 1 "Shades of Autumn"!! =)

HELLO!!
SQUEAL!! I'm here with Day 1 of the Newton's Nook Designs September Release 2017!! Today we're Showcasing the "Shades of Autumn" Stamp Set and the Coordinating "Shades of Autumn" Die Set and the New Falling Leaves Stencil!! Let's take a Close Up Look at the New Products for today!!
SQUEAL!! Hope you're like me and LOVE Fall!! I have been wanting to play with the Distress Oxide Inks on Black Cardstock and my Card for today showcases just that!! To create the Background I first stenciled with White Ink onto some Taylored Expressions Oreo Cardstock!! Then I heat sat it and replaced my stencil shifting it alittle to leave a White highlight!! I used the Clearsnap Ink Daubers to apply the different Colors of Distress Oxide Inks to the Leaves!! I used Candied Apple and Seedless Preserves for the Purple Burgundy Shade, Peeled Paint and Iced Spruce for the Green Shade, Mustard Seed and Wild Honey for the Yellow Shade and used a Combo of both Vintage Photo and Walnut Stain to add some extra Dimension!! I then coated the Leaves with Clear Embossing Powder and Heat Set it!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE the way it turned out!! For the Die Cut Leaf Cluster I Die Cut the Leaves from TE Oreo Cardstock and Covered them with White Ink, heat set them and covered them in the same shades of Distress Oxide Inks as the background!! Then I added some Tonic Studios Aqua Shimmer Pen to the Center of the Leaves for some Shine and some White Gel Pen Details!! I layered them together and added a Burlap Twine Bow along with a Die Cut and Inked Studio Katia Darling Bow!! The Sentiment was Stamped and Embossed in Black onto a Layered Set of Circle Die Cuts!!
