HELLO & HAPPY HUMP DAY!!
SQUEAL!! I'm SO EXCITED!!
Today I'm here today for my SECOND Post with Paper Smooches as their April Guest Designer!! I CAN'T WAIT to share what I've made for today!! I'm also linking up to the New Paper Smooches April Challenge: Showers!! I was thinking Showered with Rainbow Colored Pineapples meets the criteria!!?? Hope that Counts!!??  =)
I had SO MUCH FUN Playing with the April Release Products!! After getting my goodies, I decided it would be FUN to create a Colorful Pineapple Stamped Background using the Pineapple Crush Stamp Set!! I've used some older products too!! =) Let's take a Look!!

I wanted to Stamp my Background using Distress Oxide Inks!!  I DOUBLE Stamped them using the Rolling Technique to just Ink the outside edges of the Stamps to get a Shadow/Shaded Detail to the outside Edges of the Images!! I've used (Worn Lipstick & Fired Brick for the Pink Pineapples, Fossilized Amber & Spiced Marmalade for the Yellow Pineapples, Cracked Pistachio & Iced Spruce for the Turquoise Pineapples and Peeled Paint & Vintage Photo for the Leaves of the Pineapples)
For my First Card I also added Judikins Clear Detail Embossing Powder to the Images and I LOVE the Texture it gives to them in real life!! Then for even MORE Texture I thought it would be FUN to add the Outline Image over top of the Stamped Solid Images even though they aren't an exact match using Walnut Stain Distress Embossing Powder!! SQUEAL!! This is SO AWESOME in REAL LIFE!! It adds SO MUCH Texture just like REAL Pineapples have!! I just WISH you could Run your Fingers across it to get the FULL Experience!! Just makes ME HAPPY!! =) Then I Die Cut the Largest Pinked Circles Die from Black Cardstock and a Simon Says Stamp Stitched Circle Die for the Center!! I inked the Circle with Cracked Pistachio Ink and then added another Stamped and Embossed Pineapple Image that I Fussy Cut!! I wanted to add a SWEET little Bow too for some EXTRA SWEETNESS so I used a Bow Die from the Bows Dies Set!! I Layered 3 Die Cut Images just gluing them in the Center so I could pop up the edges for some Dimension and then added a Sequin to the Center for some Sparkle!! I Stamped and Embossed the Sentiment from the Daddy Yo Stamp Set!!
While I was Stamping my Backgrounds I decided to Stamp Several at once beings I had everything out and ready to go!! I used the same Distress Oxide Inks and I DOUBLE Stamped them using the Rolling Technique to just Ink the outside edges of the Stamps to get a Shadow/Shaded Detail to the outside Edges of the Images!! I've used (Worn Lipstick & Fired Brick for the Pink Pineapples, Fossilized Amber & Spiced Marmalade for the Yellow Pineapples, Cracked Pistachio & Iced Spruce for the Turquoise Pineapples and Peeled Paint & Vintage Photo for the Leaves of the Pineapples) But this time I DIDN'T add any Embossing Powder to the Solid Images!! Then I used the Outline Image and Embossed it again using the Walnut Stain Distress Embossing Powder!! Then I Die Cut the Largest Pinked Circles Die from Black Cardstock and a Simon Says Stamp Stitched Circle Die for the Center!! I inked the Circle with Cracked Pistachio Ink and then I added the NEW Thanks So Much Die!! I wanted it to POP off the Circle Die Base so I Inked up some Distress Watercolor Paper with the Worn Lipstick & Fired Brick just like I did for the Pineapple Images and then Die Cut the THANKS Die Cut!! Then I added a Black Cardstock Shadow offset and I used 4 altogether to add some Dimension!! I Die Cut the Heart the Same way and added the Black Cardstock for a Shadow too for the "O"!! Then I Die Cut the "So Much" from Distress Watercolor Paper and Layered 3 together for Dimension too!! I used the Die Cut Outline as my Guide to Glue the Tiny Letters to the Front of the Circle in a Straight Line!!
I HOPE you FEEL INSPIRED and if you get a chance to PLAY with the NEW Distress Oxide Inks PLEASE give them a try!! The Photos DON'T Do these Inks justice as they have this Texture that just CAN'T be explained unless you see it in REAL LIFE!! They are AWEOME for SO MANY Techniques!! Also, Stamping and creating your own Backgrounds or Images are made SO EASY with the New Pineapple Crush Stamp Set!! It's a MUST HAVE SET if you like to Stamp and Layer and just have FUN with the different Image Combinations included in this Set!!
THANKS SO MUCH for stopping by today and
I hope you have a FABULOUS and BLESSED EASTER WEEK/WEEKEND and I'll see you again next Wednesday for my THIRD Post for Paper Smooches as their April Guest Designer!!
