Playing with some JustRite Stamps and Spellbinders Dies!! =)

Happy Hump Day!! =)
I can't believe it is Wednesday already and the week seems to be moving at lightning speed!! Beckett had his Class Field Trip this morning and then has his Spring Music Concert and Art Show tomorrow and then only three more weeks of school and he is out for SUMMER!! I don't know about everyone else, but the weather has made it seem FAR from summer!! We are getting rain with chances of snow by tonight with a high of 42!!  Monday we had a 84 degree day!! AHHH~~Gotta LOVE Nebraska weather!! The farmer (us too) are trying to get the crops planted in the ground, but with a ground temp. of 36 it makes it kinda hard to get things planted without worrying that they will come up and seed supply is short with the hard summer we had last year so if we have to replant there is NO guarantee of getting the same kind of seed!!?? So hopefully mother nature will work with us and let it warm up just enough to get the fields planted and then we can still enjoy the cooler temp. with LOTS of rain!! Hopefully!!?
Anyway, today I wanted to play along with two different challenges!! I LOVED the Color Palette that is being shared over on the ColourQ Challenge Blog!!

I decided it would be FUN to combine this color Palette with the JustRite Friday Challenge #095 - "Window of Opportunity".  I LOVE creating windows in cards so I actually created two different cards!! I will share the other card in a separate post!!
I decided to layer several different frames from three different sets!! I white embossed them onto the different cardstock that I die cut using the matching Spellbinders Dies!! I LOVE the spring feel of these and I know this will make the Perfect Mother's Day Card for my Grandmother!! I Started by stamping the base image from the Celebrations Labels One and Bracket Borders One Stamp Set!! I had to fussy cut this image out and I backed it with a Large Decorative Labels One Spellbinders Die Cut!! Next I stamped the Large Image from the For All You Do Vintage Labels Three Stamp Set and the Second Largest Vintage Labels Three Die Cut!! Finally I stamped the Third largest Image from the same set and the matching Die Cut!! I used the Smallest Labels Three Die Cut for my window and on the inside I used the Adorning Squares Decorative Labels One and the Vintage Labels Three along with stamps from the For All You Do Vintage Labels Three Stamp Set!! I LOVE the way all of the layering looks!!
Here are some pictures of my Finished card!!

THANKS SO MUCH for stopping by and have a FABULOUS WEEK!!

  2. Larissa, this is a GORGEOUS window card -- LOVE the color combo you used too! Glad you were able to get it in before the deadline (I've been there myself a time or 3)!
Remember that NE/IA weather and planting crops -- agree it's about time for warm weather and rain vs. snow! ;~)
