I wanted to share a card I made for the Challenge over on the Paper Smooches Challenge Blog!! I LOVED the trigger photo above and went through the stamps I have to see what I could come up with!! I don't have an actual butterfly stamp set so I went through the sets I do have and found two different images I thought would work for a butterfly!!

For my card I used the Friendly Flowers Set:
*Paper Smooches FRIENDLY FLOWERS Clear Stamps Kim Hughes*Paper Smooches SPIRITUAL SAMPLER Clear Stamps Kim Hughes
*Paper Smooches HOT SPOTS SMALL SET 1 Wise Dies Kim Hughes*Paper Smooches HOT SPOTS SMALL BASE Wise Dies Kim Hughes
I used the side ways Daisy that I stamped twice to make a butterfly and colored with copics then I added glitter star dust stickles and some black Prima gems!! I also added some fun wire antennas that I coiled out of black craft wire gauge 24!! I also wanted to play with the FUN Hot Spots Small Set 1 Die and the Hot Spots Small Base Die!! I thought it would be neat to make them larger than what they are so I ran the base through my Sizzix Big Shot machine with the end hanging off so it wouldn't get cut all the way through!! I then replaced the die moving down the paper to extend it to make a 51/4 inch long base!! Again I ran it through my machine after I matched it up with the previous cut and this time I left the part of the base that I already cut off the edge so it only cuts the end of the base creating a longer base die cut!! I then took the center cut out and adhered the chevron wise die cut and again needing to make it longer I taped the paper to the die and ran it through my machine leaving the end of the die hanging off the edge so it doesn't get cut off! I then moved the die to line up with the rest of the pattern and taped it down again ;leaving the portion I already cut hanging off the edge of my cutting base so it only cuts the end of the die making it a longer die cut!! I thought it would be fun to have the chevron pattern in a different color so I cut it again out of black cardstock and added them in after placing some washi tape on the back of my die cut to hold them in place!! I then glued it in place on the base die cut and I LOVE the way it turned out!! looks like the butterflies in motion!! I then heat embossed the sentiment from the Spiritual Sentiments Stamp Set using two different powders Zing Black Glitter and Stampin' Up Turquoise!! I LOVE the look it gives!!

Here are some pictures!! =)
