Hello and HAPPY FRIDAY!!
I hope you all have a FABULOUS WEEKEND!! We have alot going on here with soccer and my sister and brother-in-laws Branding!! It's that time of year when being Farmer/Ranchers gets REALLY BUSY!! (every year family and neighbors get together to bring the cattle in from their winter stalks and we brand the new baby calves and then take the cattle to the pastures for the summer.) We have been having these the last couple weekends along with some Baptisms and we still have a few more to get through!! Its always FUN to spend time with everyone and the food alone is worth it!! We do it up country style with Ribs, Pork Roast and Chicken all BBQed on the grill and then the potatoe casserole (with cheese, sour cream, onions and chicken soup with a corn flakes and butter topping) Then the YUMMY pie and home made ice cream for dessert!! The cowboys/farmers need to be feed well for all the work they do right!!??  =)  I am known around here as the Homemade Ice Cream Queen and when ever we have parties that is the one thing I am asked to bring!! I like to make homemade Ice Cream cakes too for Birthday and special holidays like Mother's Day and Father's Day!! Like we need a reason for Home Made Ice cream, but it just makes you feel better right!!??
So I am mixing up my batches of Ice Cream tonight so it's ready to put in the mixers tomorrow for FRESH from the mixer Home Made Ice Cream to go with our meal!! Before I get started though I wanted to share a card I made to go with two different challenges that are going on!!
One is a Sketch Challenge over on the Retro Sketches Blog. I LOVED the sketch and knew I wanted to play along so I thought I'd bring in the colors from the Paper Smooches Cool Shades Challenge over on the Paper Smooches Challenge Blog!!  I thought it would be FUN to create a FUN Banner inside of a Banner look!! I also have always LOVED the cute mushroom border stamp and I have never used it so I decided to use it today at the top of the banner and then to use one of the larger mushrooms from the same set to make a FUN grouping. To finish the grouping off I placed one of the birds ontop of the mushroom!! I also stamped the little banners with one of the background stamps in a matching ink for a tone on tone look!! I used the Hello sentiment and then decided that I need some more black to make it come together so I drew some lines around the banners and the outside of my card with a black sketch pen!! I didn't want a straight line so I free hand drew them and I LOVE the way it came together!! (P.S Don't try to draw lines like this with a 3 month old in your arms!! HA HA HA) Greyson is really starting to kick and wiggle and he hates to be put down!! I just LOVE how much he is starting to talk and move!! His personality is coming out and he reminds me so much of my oldest son Beckett!! God has SO BLESSED ME!! =)  Anyway, Please make sure to check out both of these Challenge Blogs for TONS of AMAZING Inspiration!!  =)
Here is my FUN Card!!

THANKS for letting me blab today!! =) Feels good to get some of this down in words to be able to look back at some day!! THANKS also for stopping by and I hope you have a Fabulous Weekend!!
