Stampendous Micro Glitter

Mico Glitter LOVE with Stampendous!!
Today I wanted to play along with the FUN Monthly Challenge over on the Stampendous Blog!!
This month we were asked to create with the New Micro Glitters!! I am a HUGE Fan!! I wondered what the difference would be and these glitters are very fine and give a soft almost velvet look/feel with a FUN iridescent illusion!! SWOON!! =)
I decided I wanted to create an Ombre Effect if I could on the New Jumbo Daisy Stamp!!

I used three of the different Micro Glitter colors to create my Ombre Effect!!

I'll be honest at first I was afraid that maybe my image would end up looking more like a Candy Corn gone Wrong Daisy with this technique, but if you never try you'll never know!!??
Am I right!!??  =)  I wondered if I should create this effect on the petals, or if I should do the whole image Crystal on top and work down the whole flower with the Orange on the bottom!! In the end I thought it would look more realistic if I did it on the petals!!
I started by stamping my daisy onto some Neenha solar white cardstock in Versa Fine Black Onyx Ink. I then took my Helmar Gemstone Glue and covered 1/3 of the petals with the glue and covered them with the Crystal Micro Glitter!! I then covered the middle 1/3 of the petals with the glue and covered it with the Sunflower Micro Glitter and then the last 1/3 of the petals with the Orange Micro Glitter!! At this point I took a stippling brush which is a stiff tipped brush!! I used it to go along the edges of the different glitters using a pouncing motion and moving the glitters together to create a smooth transition between the different colors!! I then added alittle more glitter and let it sit to dry!! While it was drying I took some clear cardstock and stamped my daisy again using Archival Black Ink!! I cut it out and once my glitter daisy was dry I matched up the two images and glued them together only placing the Helmar Quick Dry Glue in the center of the Daisy!! I then added a button and some stitching using May Arts Black Burlap Twine and tied a cute little bow!! I LOVE the way it turned out!! I stamped the stem again on the Neenha Solar White cardstock and colored it in with a YG45 Cobalt Green Copic Marker!! I added some Frayed Burlap Distress Ink once I had it colored to add some distressing!! I placed it onto a FUN Card Base of  Pink Paislee Papers!! Then onto a kraft card!! Here are some pitures of my finished card!!

I LOVE the way my card came together and I will be trying the FUN Ombre Micro Glitter technique on some more projects!! THANKS for stopping by today and have a FABULOUS WEEK!! =)
