Day 4 of Holiday Creating with Ribbon!! =) Plus a GIVEAWAY!! =)

Today we are going to have fun with some ideas for decorating those gifts, your tree or even your clothes/hair!! =)
I wanted to use that packaging paper that I get in the mail with my orders!! I know you all know what I'm talking about!! I seem to save it and roll it up and then put it up never using it then I have 50 rolls and I finally decide to today that I was going to use it to wrap my presents this year, but I needed to jazz it up so no one would know that it was just paper packaging. After going through my scrapbooking supplies I decided to make some really fun gift toppers and here is what I came up with!! Here are some photos~~
This is a card I made using the New Tim Holtz Doily Alterations Die!! I actually cut it out twice side by side only flipping it to make the oval doily shape that I used for the background of my card decoration.  I LOVE the way it turned out and I hope you'll give it a try!! =)

The white felt flower is by Pink Paislee and it actually comes in a set of 2 and has a clip on the back of it making it easy to add to just about anything that you can think of!! I added some red and white twine from the Twinery then added some netting and it would be great for a gift, or your coat or a hair piece!! The red one was made by using a Maya Road wooden doily and the using the Build a Flower#1 Die from Paper Trey Ink, then I cut out a medium flower out of some red canvas and a large die out of flannel fabric. I added some leaves and then a Prima button in the center to finish it off!! I LOVE them both and can't wait to use them!!

I used a 4 inch doily and sprayed it with Walnut Gold Glimmer Mist, then added a gold foil Build a Flower and added a Prima button to the center. Then I coiled up some May Arts Wire/Pearl Ribbon #FY09 and added it on either side for a fun touch of dimension. I LOVE the way it turned out and think these would make BEAUTIFUL ornaments for teachers or friends!!

I made another Maya Road wooden doily decoration for this package only I added some May Arts twine and then some netting!! It makes this paper packaging look like something super special!! Especially after I coated the paper in a layer of Walnut Gold Glimmer Mist!!  =)

I also made a video sharing with you how to make these items and giving you a closer look at them all!! Also I give you a tutorial on how to wrap your packages with twine!!
Here it is:

So I hope you found some INSPIRATION and hope you'll use some of your packaging and your scrapbooking supplies to decorate your gifts this year!!
